Synopsis
‘Congratulations! You've been chosen to be this year's single on the hit Halloween dating show ‘The Boo-chelor’. Come and meet your three interested Bachelors and Bachelorettes ready to win your heart! Will you end up finding your soulmate? Or will you end up alone eating the leftover chocolate once again?’
The Boo-chelor is a Halloween themed, comedy visual novel inspired by all the dating shows I've loved and watched over the years. As you play and read you get to learn about your three mysterious suitors, all dressed up for Halloween… though some seem to be more in character than others. Ask them questions, set them challenges and in the end choose one to go on a date.

This project will be completed within the month of September as part of the Spooktober jam. You must have availability to complete all recordings/compositions during this month to be considered for these roles.
Now that the deadline has passed, I just wanted to say thank you for all the interest and auditions for The Boo-chelor. Everyone is amazingly talented, and the range of interpretations I've listened to for each character has been so cool!
I'll be reaching out to those chosen today (the 30th) after figuring out all the roles!

I am looking for someone to create three tracks:
Theme song - the opening track to the Boo-chelor, should give the same vibe as shows such as ‘Take Me Out’, ‘The Dating Game’ and ‘Blind Date’ whilst also giving more of a Halloween vibe.
Ambient music - For during the questions/rounds/the show itself. Similar vibe to the theme song just more suitable for background music and for people speaking over it.
Date music - A track for when the MC and their chosen bachelor go on their spooky date organised by the show.

Calamaria is our first contestant, and they are dressed up as an alien it seems, tentacles and all. They are also very in character and keep shouting about how they are going to take over the planet. Luckily MC can read between the lines and know exactly what they mean.

Our second contestant is Rex, dressed as a werewolf. We think their costume is making it hard for them to speak though because for some reason they keep growling at everything. Rex is very passionate, some might say feral, and is always biting at every opportunity… please stop eating the set Rex. On your date you may just be lucky enough for them to show you their refined Englishperson impression, it's a rare once a month treat.

Most of Rex's lines are growling, the idea is that I will use SFX for this, but if you're confident in your growl then let me know! It would be nice to do something custom.
The main speaking barks will be for their posh, refined voice. Think classic English gentleperson.

Our final contestant Dave is just a guyTM. His costume is a bit last minute and a little flimsy, and honestly he is petrified he is going to be eaten by Bachelor number 2. He is a little flustered and clumsy, and kinda boring compared to the wild and passionate Bachelors 1 and 2, but who knows maybe he might have a hidden dark side, after all, he is oddly charming…

Jack, short for Jack o'lantern, is the host of The Boo-chelor. He is every bit the classic presenter, doing his best to keep things lighthearted, cheery and fun, the latter of which he doesn't hesitate to have at the contestants expense.
