The Bloodletter: A Custom Companion Mod for Baldur's Gate 3 (Round 2)
Project Overview
This project is a custom companion mod for a new Baldur’s Gate 3 ally into your party — a drow warlock with a shadowy past and uncertain future. This mod offers players the familiar elements of engaging, reactive dialogue, moral complexity, and choices that resonate through the campaign. This is a fully immersive mod project, with new quests, new characters, and new decisions for the players to explore as they venture back into the world of Baldur’s Gate 3.

My name's Astarion. I was in Baldur's Gate when those beasts snatched me.
Ugh, it's not enough we have a gallery of villains to look out for, but now we could be invaded by a shapechanger? I can't even tell if any of you are acting strange because you have been replaced or because this group is full of weirdos!
I’ve held more people than I can count. An infinite parade of lovers. But a friend? I can’t think of a single one.

Hello. I’m Gale of Waterdeep. Apologies, I'm usually better at this.
I love this time of night. There’s an almost reverent silence that accompanies the peak of darkness, when you’d almost believe the dawn will never break. The cradle of eternity.
You licked a dead spider. Dead. Spider. You licked it. That is something that happened. I think we need to get you some air, and perhaps have a long talk about unresolved childhood issues.

I am the one who sunders, I am the Undying Queen’s most unshakable warrior. I am Lae’zel of K’liir.
I’m stubborn, I’m rude, I’m pushy. Maybe I always will be. But I’m also loyal, and protective, and ferocious. First, you were my wound and now... you are its cure.
I’m glad you came back, alright? Now lets move before this discussion turns maudlin

Until their sanctuary is found, I will take something precious from you every hour that passes. A trinket. A tongue. A limb.
Praise the Absolute! She will reward us well for this exquisite carnage.
Bhaal, Lolth... the Absolute. They do not have followers - they only have victims, and they reward devotion with death.

I grow tired of these false faces. Every corner we turn: another! And now it is my face they use to turn Minsc against us. I am sorry, but… I am just tired.
It was Bhaal alone we faced in our time - and as bad as that was, he had no elder brain for a lapdog then.
Viconia DeVir. If only Shar would bless me with the forgetting of your face.
