Dennis The Menace - A Beano Audio Tale
Project Overview
I am putting together an audio story for publication on my Youtube channel adapted from a text story found in a 1950's Beano comic. The Beano is a very long running British comic, best known as the home to the likes of Dennis The Menace and Gnasher, The Bash Street Kids, and Minnie The Minx, to name but a few. Before the 1980s, short stories were very common place alongside the comic strips themselves, and I am seeing if there is any appetite for producing some of them as little audio tales.
As such, I am currently looking to enhance the project with a few background/additional voices from the wonderful folk here at CCC.
Actors will have their sites of choice plugged in the description/comment of the videos as well, of course, getting a glowing recommendation on CCC from myself. The roles are generally very quick, and, if done well enough, the audition file itself will be used, with no further work required at all.
I have made one of these so far, about the Bash Street Kids, and that video is included as the explainer video for this project.
Please do include your chosen credited name should you be selected for a role.
I look forward to hearing all your wonderful auditions soon.
