The Arcane Secrets: Revamp
Project Overview
For the first time ever, my non-profit organization, Genesis would be exploring the mental health aspect of the visual novel game "The Arcana". While it was previously owned by Nix Hydra, it is now owned by the company "Dorian". We are releasing this project as a collaboration with Dorian.
Genesis had been hosting The Arcana themed workshops via zoom for quite a while now, and our topic was mental health. When we frst spoke to the creative director of Dorian, we said we would bring these workshops onto their platform in the form of a visual novel game, and that's exactly what we're working on. Now you might wonder, if it's a visual novel game, why the need of voice actors?
Well, Dorian has a cool feature wherein, people can livestream games on the Dorian app. We are looking voiceactors to play these characters on a livestream on Dorian. You wouldn't need to have your cameras on, only join with the required username and profile picture and we'll be good to go. This role needs you to be active with your participation. We would be hosting practice sessions via zoom and on Dorian, so we would require you to join these practice sessions because without proper practice, this cannot be done. So ONLY join if you know you can join practice calls. Again, you won't need fancy equipment to join this project. All you need is a good pair of headset so your voice can be heard clearly. Given the nature of these livestreams, you'd need to participate from your mobile device only, so that's the only equipment requirement. And I CANNOT emphasize this enough, please ONLY join if you're willing to put in the time and effort for this. You would need to join practice calls, and try to make time for this. We have people coming in from various regions from all over the world, so it is difficult to find a common time, but we're all putting in the effort to do our best despite the challenges. So once again, please only apply if you're serious about this project. You would need to be active in our discord server, and respond to check ins from me, so I know you're willing to put in the time and effort needed to make this project a success. Khamgalai is an elderly woman, the oldest living member of the Kokhuri, the tribe that one of our main LIs Muriel was born into. She lives in the Steppe where she watches over the graves of their people, who died in the battle against the Scourge. She is kind, motherly, and affectionate. She is wise and calm, and speaks slow.
Voice wise, I would expect a voice that sounds old, and motherly. Warm and fuzzy. She is a wholesome person, so I would like to see that in the audition as well.

Muriel is an old friend of Asra’s. He’s from the six love interests, yet his need for isolation is always what keeps his social circle small. He’s a shy guy, yet secretly has a big heart. He doesn’t like showing emotions, but proves his intentions with actions. He lives in the forests alone with his pet and prefers the time alone for his fear of abandonment.

a form of pure and ancient energy in the human psyche. Her archetype is to guide, a personification of intuition. The High Priestess is compassionate, representing the wisdom her archetype carries, coming off almost motherly to Nadia in how she speaks to Nadia and passes on her wisdom and counsel

the Devil is a manipulator and a charismatic tactician. Although almost scarily cordial, he is in no way warm with his words, nor his presence. He speaks in almost riddles, giving away none of his true intentions in the honeyed promises and deals that he offers to the main cast.

Her archetype is one of faith and direction. She's "all about helping you know who you are and where you're going, and trusting yourself to get there," she says. She’s very welcoming, and loves like a child. If it were for the kindest major arcana to be chosen, it would be her, the Star. Radiating with loving and faithful energy.

His Sadistic and morbid personality is what intimidates the people around the castles. Their secret lies in the dungeons, which they have kept hidden from others, tables packed with vivisection and dissection, cages to confine patients in, and a pit into which bodies are thrown when they are no longer usable. They own a cold tone, short in words, and hate what’s alive.

While he’s known for his calmness and being his collected self. He’s proven to be a conspirator for wanting to take all control over the Vesuvians from the countess Nadia. Whenever his plan goes slightly awry, he snaps to break his wine glass and losses his temper too fast.

Volta is constantly hungry, which fuels her motivations throughout the novel. She's always hunting for food, whether it's red beetles or a sumptuous feast with the countess. She's impatient and clingy, especially when she knows there's food nearby but can't find it. She is a demon, bound by the Devil and currently in a form that resembles her human form, but she has no human-like instincts.

While Asra is from the main six love interests; as a child, he had lost his both parents from the count Lucio unknowingly, refusing to believe they left him, and his fear of abandonment simply grew as he lived with his good friend; Muriel.

While growing, Muriel only had known his parents abandoned him. Not knowing why, when, or how, but just hating and blaming himself for being a mistake. Hating everyone else, but Asra. For brining hope and light into his life, and almost forgetting about all his flaws for just having a friend by side since young age.
