Project Overview
One summer evening, the three best friends Romy, Sharilyn & Abonny had their usual movie night.
Except it was far from usual.
Just as the movie started, the ground started to tremble.
All three came to the same conclusion: It couldn't just have been a small earthquake, even if that's what they wanted to believe.
When they went outside, they couldn't believe their eyes.
In front of them stood what appeared to be a portal.
First came hesitation, then the resolution to see what it lies on the other side.
And that's when their lives changed forever.

~The Story~
The cursed folk known as Demons have arisen to wreak havoc on Animalia, with the intention to get land, power and more importantly, their pride back.
Animalia is motherland of the animal-human hybrids and shapeshifters, with the reclusive plant-human hybrids, better known as elves, residing in its woods.
A bizzare energy prevails in the world, which is referred to as teleportation energy or crystal energy. This energy is stored in crystals, which are primarily found underground.
Academics made a breakthrough by creating portals to a whole other world using this energy. These portals lead all to our planet Earth, a world as similar as it is different to theirs.
These academics belong to the Animalia Academy, an edifice in the midst of the land. The Animalia Academy is a special institute where its scholars are not only trained in various disciples, but have a fully established life as one big family.
A vision lead them to the friends Romy, Sharilyn & Abonny, completely normal teenagers, as saviors to their world. What their purpose is has yet to be unraveled.

⇒Auditioning
•All accents are welcome (except for certain characters). The more accents, the better!
•IMPORTANT: Must at least have a decent mic. No (or little) background noises, no muffled voice, etc.
•It'd be helpful if you have several takes of the lines, with different acting.
•It's possible I ask you to play a character you didn't audition for.
•As this is a passion project, there won't unfortunately be payment (for now.)

Romy is the youngest of the trio. Her lighthearted and childlike behavior charms everyone around her. She always has a positive attitude and wants to make others happy.
Moreover, she has a weak spot for all cute things, especially cats.

I wonder what dad is doing right now... I hope he's okay. I miss his bear hugs and belly laugh. *heavyhearted*
Sharilyn knows how to lighten the mood and is always fun to be around. She always had a laid-back approach to life, and tries to stay relaxed in every situation.
Voice: mid-deep, peppy
Oh, don't be such a party pooper! *jokingly*
No, duh. We totally didn't notice those cats glowing, then all of sudden turn into humans! *sarcastic*
Let go of her, you son of a bitch! I swear, if you do so much as lay a finger on her... I'll make you regret everything.
Although she's only the second oldest of the trio, she sort of has taken the role as the mom friend. Whether it's comforting Romy after her favorite character died, helping Sharilyn with homework, or preventing the two from doing something overly reckless, she is always there for her best friends.
When she isn't watching out for her friends, she likes to read & study.

You said it before, didn't you? There's something more than that. I'm starting to get that feeling too... *puzzled*
Actually Sharilyn, I'd like to see you chase after... whatever that was. Your legs are long enough, after all. *teasing*

Much like her superior Eustolia, Catherine puts up a sedate attitude, although she may come off as more austere at times.
When she is alone, she reveals to be rather soft. However, she'd never expose that side of her to anyone except her childhood friend and now coequal Leon.

Leon is not as strict as Catherine, but no less dutiful. He originally comes from a noble family, which is evident in his polite and courteous demanor, making him well-liked by everyone.

Excuse me, m'am. I would be most grateful if you could tell me where the pharmacist lives. *charming*
Insightful, diligent and thorough. Those qualities are essential for leading an institute such as the academy, and Eustolia always exceeded those expectations. She remains calm in the most taxing situations and always tries to find an understanding.
The matriarch of the academy lives not only to serve the academy, but the entity of Animalia.

Attention, dear scholars! I have an important announcement to make!
*murmur* Let's take them to the academy... if they show one petty sign of hostility, we'll eliminate them.
*aloud* Fine. Come with us. But I'm warning you... Don't even think about deceiving us.
*sigh* So, Hunter, how should we go about this? Should we... look in on them or send someone else? *pensive*
Eustolias' coequal, the vice head of the academy and combat expert. Hunter is no man one should mess with. He won't shy away from instilling fear or inflicting pain, but refrains from unnecessary violence.

So, you are the people who will aid us? I'll be honest, you don't... look like much. That makes me even more curious about your hidden capabilities.
*trying to suppress pain* Oh, that? Just a graze... It won't even leave a scar. What a shame.

Countess Octavia IX. is the current leader of the pacifist demon revolution. Altruistic and caring about the realm and its people, she appreciates everyone who will prove to be a help for them. She and her followers are respected allies of Animalia.
Brave warriors of Daemonium! We may have no interest in war, but that does not mean we will cower before the evil! Let us defend our territory, our beliefs, and make it clear that we are NOT to be trifled with! *motivational speech*

Danyal leads a rather solitary life in the ruins of Daemonium. He has been a slave since he was young, but is now free after his owner died. He managed to stay under the radar, but plans to escape and join the pacifist revolution.
Voice: mid-high, softspoken
(distracting guard; higher voice) Oh, poor you... I couldn't help but notice you seem rather tense. Maybe you'd like to spend some time-- (guard gets knocked out)
*normal voice* Nice one, man. If we had a few more of you, we wouldn't need to be so furtive.

Severina is one of the academy's scientists who worked on the crystal energy, and responsible for the breakthrough. Where others gave up, she was determined to keep going.
We have suffered casualties working on this... damned, but also blessed energy. That's when I knew I couldn't give up exploring it.
I'm glad it works as intended... *yawns* Sorry. I could barely get any sleep these past weeks, sometimes stayed awake for days. Now if you'll- *yawns* -excuse me.... I'd like to get some rest before the next assignment begins...
The twins Melva & Myrtle are the complete opposites of each other. Melva is boisterous and might seem snappy at times, while Myrtle spends the entire day in the library, unwilling to socialize with others.
(They should sound similar, so it's possible I cast the same person for both of them.)
My sister spends the whole day in the library. If you disturb her, she might turn into a greater problem than those Demons.
Ugh, do I have to do EVERYTHING for us to live? Myrtle, get the hell up and help me! You could at least say "Thank you" once in a while.

Khadeeja is the chief doctor of the academy. She makes sure everyone is in good health.

Dr. Jebediah Kauffman, as he was called, was a homeless beggar in the streets of London after a tragedy occured in his life.
A chance meeting gave him the life as a physician at the academy.
He prefers to keep his past to himself.
My name's Jeb. I'm the one who will tend to your physical wounds. That's all there is to me.

Lenora used to be a teacher at a different academy. She was rather looked down upon at her old workplace, as she seemed naive due to her young age and kittenish nature.
During a visit, Eustolia saw great potential in her, thus offering her a profession at the academy where she is well respected by her students and colleagues.
Wow, you all did so well on this exam! I really have the best students. *happy, proud*

Irhaal is the academy' botanist. She and her scholars are tending the plants growing inside the academy. She prefers talking to plants rather than people.
Please, don't touch these plants. They're fragile.
Mai, stop shouting, you're scaring the plants...
Mai Koa has a fanatical passion for alchemy and the creation of potions and poisons. She likes to go crazy when conducting experiments and is especially fond when something goes 'kaboom', as she would say. Scholars need to have some spunk to join her classes.
She works very closely with Irhaal, who is the academy's botanist.
And... kaboom! (nothing happens) Huh, maybe I need to increase the--- (explosion) Ahhh!! *laughs* Maybe I just need to be patient!
*serious* Irhaal, why has this plant stopped growing? It created such strong toxins. It would be such a shame if that plant died. *giggles* Maybe it died of its own poison! How amazing would that be!
Once human, the twins Malvin & Mallory were viciously turned into dolls which damaged their personality gravely. After their horrible discovery, they got taken in at the academy.
Malvin is overanxious, keeps hallucinating and can't form a sentence without stuttering.
I-I see them... sometimes.. a-and if I close my eyes, they're still... there...
Mallory scares me sometimes... Bu-But don't tell her... I said that... Pleeease?

Mallory is a cheeky lunatic with a fondness for blood.

The leader of the Daemonic council. His priority is neither the reconstruction of Daemonium nor aiding its civilians, but doing anything in his power to see Animalia fall.
Everything we do, we do for Daemonium - exactly how you fight for your own land. Why does that make us immoral? *calm, reasonable*
Take more citizens into custody. One of them has to be the mole.
Daegān is rather averse to violence. Instead, he prefers to manipulate people by beguiling them. He likes to toy around no matter their gender or race.
*whispering* I would appreciate if you could tell her the truth... I could not stand the thought of having your pretty face ruined.
*sigh* Draconia, you are always so brutish. How can you expect them to give coherent answers if you maim them at the same time?
Despite her young age, Draconia has made herself quite a reputation in Daemonium. She is passionate about justice for Daemonium, and achieves that by tormenting and killing as many Animalians as she can get her hands on.
It seems like we won't get anything out of them anymore. Throw them in the fire.
I don't care if I'm being 'brutish', you lecherous dolt! At least I'm not trying to woo our enemies.
Crimson is a bandit, who went to the Animalia Academy years ago. She was in the same class as Eustolia & Hunter. The three have been friends for a long time, but the higher Eustolia & Hunter rose without Crimson, the more she seperated herself from them.
It was speculated she ran away because she didn't make it to the elite like her friends. She now lives in a shack deep in the woods and lives off robbing unsuspecting travellers.
Back off, Eustolia! I don't want to see you in my territory.
I promise you Slate, I will find the bastards that did this to you AND a cure. *determined, reassuring*
Slate was about to die when Crimson found him in the woods.
Forever grateful for her help, Slate always stays with Crimson, offering good advice for her and having her back. (as far as he can)
He forgot what happened to him, but he can't transform into a human.

Some groups don't like outsiders and are more aggressive, others are quite peaceful.
