The Amazing Spider-Man himself. He is around 19/20, just about to go to college. For Peter and Spider-Man, I want to capture the two different personalities - Spider-Man is fast-talking, exuberant, very talkative. Peter, on the other hand, is much more subdued, and nervous. He is not good with people generally, but when he puts on the mask, things change completely.
Better make sure I can at least get some pics for Jolly Jonah. Now, my time to shine!
You've got a supersuit now - You've gotta have a cool supervillain name to go with it.
Well, look who it is - Harry Houdini himself!
A street thug who takes the Shocker suit. Not the brightest tool in the box. Cocky, brash and aggressive, and speaks with a deep-south accent.
Squash that bug!
Call me... The Shocker! And that's the last name you're ever gonna hear...
The man who created the Shocker equipment. A young (early-30s) technical genius, who is very cocky and self-assure of himself.
These are the most powerful things you can get. They send out vibrational blasts, enough to blast bank vaults clean open.
You want to use it, you gotta use the whole lot. With this, nothing will stand in your way...
What's going on?
The angry, fast-talking editor-in-chief of The Daily Bugle newspaper, who hates Spider-Man with a fiery passion, but ironically respects Peter. I would not normally ask voice actors to imitate a particular actor, but J.K. Simmons defined the character of Jonah in the Sam Raimi films in the way few actors can, so something close to his portrayal would be preferable, although it is not a necessity.
Crap, crap, double crap, triple crap! What the hell do you call these, kid?!
How in the name of God and sunny Jesus am I supposed to use these in my paper?!
What are you talkin' about, Robbie?! We've got plenty! We've got folks starving for a shot at the front page!
Jonah's long-suffering second-in-command and voice of reason, who suspects that Peter and Spider-Man may very well be one and the same. He is kindly, much less harsh on Peter than Jonah is, and certainly less harsh towards Spider-Man.
Peter's the best photographer we've got, Jonah
