Project Overview
For the inhabitants of the Isle of Flungo, all that has ever been known is peace. Most would consider this land a paradise, but for wannabe adventurer Bluke Bifton, this island is a dull bore. Lucky for Bluke, then, that chaos soon finds its way to his home in the form of a mysterious invading force. Allying with his long-time neighbor Captain Munch and a few other eccentric friends along the way, Bluke and his new ensemble seek to challenge the intruders to their home. How they do it - well, that’s up to you.
The Adventures of Bluke Bifton is a point-and-click adventure game with a heavy emphasis on choice and character-based storytelling. As players journey throughout the Isle of Flungo as the titular Bluke, they’ll be offered varying choices with equally varying outcomes. Want to be a pacifist? An anarchist? When it comes down to it, the way that Bluke deals with the ever-changing cast of absurd characters is the player’s choice. Now, it's time to give a voice to a few of these weirdos!
Important things to note!
-For this casting call, we are seeking POC talent to represent these characters.
-All roles will be compensated at a rate of $0.15/word.
-Be aware that the game contains more than a fair bit of swearing and violence. There’s nothing NSFW in the game, however.
-We are seeking clean audio quality. A treated space and XLR microphones are preferred with minimal background noise, peaking, popping, etc.
-In addition to the game’s current first chapter, we have plans for some characters to return in future installments. We ask that you keep the possibility of a longer-term commitment in mind when auditioning.
-If you couldn’t already tell, this game is weird as hell. Though we do have some intended direction for these characters, feel free to try some out-there stuff with your audition and have fun with your reads!

Huel is a delinquent in every sense of the word. Showing up on the Isle solely to cause chaos, Huel has no respect for anybody besides his partner Vinny. The sheer force of Huel’s blissful idiocy threatens any kind of peace on the island.
Huel sounds energetic, with a booming, deeper-toned voice. Basically, the guy's hyped to be causing a bunch of chaos, but less so in a completely crazy-insane way, and more so like he simply finds it all incredibly entertaining.

If you were to call Craffle a mad scientist, she’d probably take it as a compliment. As a crafter of strange potions, Craffle peddles her concoctions to folks on a traveling cart. Don’t expect Craffle to take responsibility if any of her potions produce some unexpected effects, though. After what’s happened in the past, she’s made sure she’s liability free...
Craffle should sound energetic and excited - she’s hyped to be giving her potions to people, and even more hyped to study the weird, more-than-likely-terrible effects they inflict on her willing subjects.

Enter Cornwayne, the enigmatic corn dealer. Cornwayne peddles his corn on the roadside for a single coin a pop, but regardless of how much his customers spend, it’s never enough. Cornwayne has a Cornfamily to take care of, after all - a Cornwife, a Cornson, a Corndaughter, and even a Corndog. Won’t you buy just one more cob?
Cornwayne isn’t the most charismatic salesman, but his immaculate outfit and sob story make up for what he lacks in energy. At his heart, Cornwayne is just a normal dude, but the sheer love he has for his Cornfamily should come through in his powerfully corny words.
