John & Friends Go To Court is a highly ambitious, innovative, and degenerative black mark on the so-called "fanfiction" medium; a story that steals all the familiar tropes you love (or detest) from fanfiction and reorders them into a wild satirical comedy. It's self-insert protagonist, John, as skilled at karate and pleasing women as he is, remains a pathetic lowlife obsessed with his anime waifu, Asuna Yuuki. His sidekicks, Tails and Rick Sanchez, represent the worst writing and fandom worship one could ever imagine. More wacky characters, like Shrek, or Draco Malfoy, or Rosa Parks! ARE YOU IMPRESSED YETTT?!!?!
But wait- John & Friends Go To Court is mostly cast already! How?! Because people 15+ friends/internet strangers actually trust me and my work enough to sacrifice their free time in service to a meme! That, at least, warrants your consideration. I'm here now to seek out the most rare of the rare: someone who can voice the characters no one else thought about voicing.

Q: Where's my money you degenerate?
A: No money. I'm not exactly doing well in life if I'm organizing a volunteer voiced-acted fanfic project. Plus, introducing that factor now, after most roles have been filled, would introduce a lot of drama and in-fighting I just don't need right now. Do this because you want to, because it's fun, and because you love memes.
Q: Why do these roles make me throw up in my mouth?
A: They sound more awful than they really are, is all that I can really say. There's a preview on the website. Read it and judge my funniness, etc. etc.
Q: What is this fanfic rated?
A: Hard R, or Hard M, or whatever means mature and explicit content. There's cursing, immoral scenes and situations, references to sex, and just a whole lot of degeneracy. I'm going to hell if anyone below 16 is casted in this. Although, there is no smut, intentional offensiveness, and nothing is meant to be taken seriously.
Q: How do I know you're a good writer?
A: Judge for yourself: download a DocX preview of the first two chapters of John & Friends Go To Court, and it's prequel, John & Friends Save the World. If you find it stupid and juvenile yet funny and on-point with its parody, then what are you waiting for? If you don't feel those things, no worries: this project's "artistic" sensibilities aren't for everyone.
Q: How will production work?
A: This production model is very unconventional compared to other things you might find here. Instead of prerecording sent lines, you'll join the Discord server and act out chapters at specific times/dates with everyone involved. The point of this project is mainly to have fun: and it's a lot of fun to read these stupid lines in front of people, even remotely.
Q: Will the finished product end up?
A: YouTube and SoundCloud, mainly. There are 18 chapters, so there will be 18 parts all compiled in a playlist. Credit for roles will be handed out on a personal basis: no credit, anonymous credit, whatever- it's your choice. Warning: this project will not propel you into stardom :/
