Project Overview
What is this?
A fan dub of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin (Lost Years) comic series issue #1! This project is going to be taking music, voice acting, sound effects, and the comic panels themselves to create a comic experience unlike any other that we like to call Audio Comics.
For those of you unfamiliar with the premise: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin – Lost Years is a five-issue comic series published by IDW Publishing in 2023. Serving as both a prequel and sequel to The Last Ronin, it delves into Michelangelo's transformation from a lighthearted ninja to a solitary avenger, while also introducing a new generation of Turtles. The Last Ronin – Lost Years expands the TMNT universe by exploring untold stories of resilience, mentorship, and the enduring spirit of heroism. It bridges the gap between the past and future, setting the stage for subsequent adventures in the Roninverse.
Requirements:Since this is a paid project that I am funding out of my own pocket: a significant level of technical and performance quality is going to be expected. Please ensure that your microphone is capable of recording your performance without picking up overwhelming background noises or excessive peaking/clipping. Simultaneously many of these roles are for larger than life characters who tend to emote HEAVILY- as such most roles will probably involve shouting and even a bit of hamming it up/overacting in some capacity at some time or another so if you cannot commit to the needs of a given role please do not audition as I cannot expect to select someone who cannot give the performance a role requires.
Role Significance:Obviously leading roles are going to be paid the highest amount as they will be appearing most frequently and deserve to be accommodated accordingly (i.e. Michelangelo/The Ronin). But the rest of the characters have recurring appearances throughout the series and have an incredibly important impact on the events of the story. (i.e. Moja, Odyn, Uno and Yi show up in all the issues but have a smaller amount of dialogue in issue #1 than they do in following issues).
Payment:Payments will be made via PayPal when lines are completed and received. Payment will be at a flat rate of $10 per person. This is due to the small amount of lines the actors will have for this issue. In following issues there will be more lines and therefore higher payment.

Moja is one of the second generation of Ninja Turtles, raised and trained by Casey Marie Jones after the death of all of the originals. At some point after Michelangelo died, Casey Marie acquired four baby turtles and implored them to grow up quickly so she could train them. She mutated them so that she could accomplish this.
Moja is very much like Raphael, she is short tempered and quick to violence threatening her brother, Uno, when he insults their other brother, Odyn, and refuses to apologize.

At some point after Michelangelo died, Casey Marie acquired four baby turtles and implored them to grow up quickly so she could train them. She mutated them so that she could accomplish this.
Odyn is the largest of his siblings and has a one track mind for food and little else, always complaining that he is hungry.

Uno is one of the second generation of Ninja Turtles, raised and trained by Casey Marie Jones after the death of all of the originals. At some point after Michelangelo died, Casey Marie acquired four baby turtles and implored them to grow up quickly so she could train them. She mutated them so that she could accomplish this.
Uno is very much like Leonardo, he is an adept at his ninja training and likes to show off in front of his siblings and his sensei. But he is also extremely arrogant and headstrong almost as if he believes he is above all his siblings.

Yi is one of the second generation of Ninja Turtles, raised and trained by Casey Marie Jones after the death of all of the originals. At some point after Michelangelo died, Casey Marie acquired four baby turtles and implored them to grow up quickly so she could train them. She mutated them so that she could accomplish this.
Yi can be considered to be the Donatello of the group, she is smart and likes to tinker with electronics and machinery, often liking to work with April in her workshop.

Voice Actor
Casey Marie is fiercely determined, courageous, and independent. She carries the emotional weight of her family's sacrifices while remaining hopeful and defiant against an oppressive regime. She’s a natural leader, unafraid to question authority or challenge danger head-on, and shows a deep respect for the Turtles’ legacy.
She is the daughter of April O'Neil and the late vigilante Casey Jones, and serves as a torchbearer for the fallen heroes of the TMNT legacy.
In the video included on this page you can hear what her previous voice actor sounded like, I'm looking for something similar to that but "aged up" a little if at all possible.
