Tears Held Under
Project Overview
Tears Held Under is a short story written by me. It starts with a poem depicting an ocean scene symbolizing grief and societal pressures. It ends with an anecdote from my life that ties into the emotional core of the piece.
I am looking for a narrator to put a voice to these extremely personal words. The final form of this project will be a short video with minimal visuals. The primary feature will be the voice with background music. As of now I will be composing the music, but if you need inspiration for the tone of the music you can listen to "On the Nature of Daylight" - by Max Richter.

Narrator must be able to convey an insightful tone as the subject matter is sincere and at times dark. I don't care about software used as long as audio is clean and you can convey the emotion of the words.
Sadness flows over me like waves on a reef, crashes that plunge me deeper into my grief
Better to be strangled than never held at all, better to feel nothing than to feel small
They say tears are for weak men, I say tears are for the strong. For only a strong man can open themselves to the world and be willing to accept whatever is returned.
