Tales of Crossover City (Mega-Crossover Comic)
Project Overview
Hey guys it's me your local crackhead bringing you a pretty unique project that might remind you of some stuff you might have encountered, dreamed of OR made in your youth...
SYNOPSIS:
"Once upon a time, Crossover Central was a popular and well known travel spot, where heroes, villains and others from your favorite videogames, cartoons, animes and series reunited to hang out and have a fun time, it was beautiful, but then, something has happened, strange events started to happen consistently, they seemed to defy all stablished logic, and they also felt their mental health be slowly scratched away just by staying there, causing them to act not like themselves, because of that, most of them left the city, only a few would stay, and only the most stupid would go there. This story is about those foolish enough to be there. This is a story about Heroes of Destiny..."
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
Tales of Crossover City was a series I always wanted to do since long ago, it went through many different forms and concepts until taking this one.
It changes tone constantly and easily, like it can go from a Saturday Morning Cartoon to a really Bizarre Shonen to the Most Comprehensible Max0r Video, due to that the series is extremely chaotic and uncomprehensible, capable of blowing up any neurotypical above the age of 40.
ToCC doesn't have a single main cast, but MULTIPLE main casts, each with different tones and stories, sometimes even being protagonized by other creator's characters (used with permission of course).
LOOKING FOR:
Artists who:
-Can replicate certain artstyles almost perfectly and without much problem.
-Have experience on character design and know how to make a good design.
-Have experience on 3D modeling for Garry's Mod (either in map-making or in modelling and making ragdolls, props, etc)
Writers who:
-Have experience writing shonens, seinens or comedies.
-Are pretty unhinged.
-Are good at writing dialogue.
(You need to have atleast ONE of the listed characteristics if you want to apply. If any of these points do any mention of being a certain way or having such skill and you feel unsure about your skills, don't worry, I'll tell you how good you are at it with a handful of trials.)
Good luck and have a nice day ;)

As the role says, you Illustrate the 2D parts and characters of the comic, which means that you'll have to learn to collaborate with the 3D illustrator to translate the storyboard clean so the public can view it. You also need to have knowledge on replicating other artstyles.
Here's an example from my other illustrator about what I'm looking for:

As the role says, you render the 3D parts and characters of the comic, which means that you'll have to learn to collaborate with the 2D illustrator to translate the storyboard clean so the public can view it.
The programs I recommend you using are Garry's Mod, SFM or Blender.

You create the models that the 3D Illustrator uses. They must either be a Gmod Ragdoll/Effect/Prop, an SFM model or Blender model depending on what the Illustrator uses.
Here are some guides if you're up to the job:

You'll be the one in charge of modelling the backgrounds for the comic. Just like modelling, you'll need to either be a Blender, SFM or Gmod mapmaker depending on the 3D Illustrator, Gmod being the most diffilcult.
Here are some tutorials to help you:

You'll design the concept art for the characters, pretty simple, right? Actually, no, you'll need knowledge on design language, such as silouhette shapes, color language and such.
Personally, I'd recommed watching GatorEX's videos on pokemon character redesigns for some basic knowledge: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3bseFiNOqU&list=PLKj8XlOPJyjtBImQsqWP8OUHPQ1fuMUog

You'll be in charge of writing all the text supposed to be in prose.

Your job here is to help us with the comic's art production with your editing skills, and, if we really need it, inserting certain characters "seamlessly" into the scene.
