Takeshi's Castle Christmas Spectacular
Project Overview
Hello all! This casting call is for a simple voiceover for a new edit of a Japanese gameshow. I am from a website called Keshi Heads and looking for someone who would like to commentate on a new episode made up of unseen segments from the show!
The downside is that I can't pay anyone, but the upside is that you don't have to be a professional - just someone who would like to be the "host" of a show.
If you've seen Takeshi's Castle before, great! If not, we would still be interested in hearing from you if you would like to apply. In this case, it couldn't hurt to watch an episode on YouTube before you do.
The commentary for this will be due around December 20th - so you should have a couple of weeks once the editing process is over to do your part. The episode will be about 23 minutes long.
There will be some bits of script written for you to read (mainly during transitions between games), but you will also have a lot of free reign on what you say!
I had to include one "mandatory audition line", so that is why it says that there. Just read that sentence out (with your name included) so we can get an idea of your voice. That's it.
