DESCRIPTION
Nishida is one of the 10,000 players who were trapped in "Sword Art Online" and one of the oldest in the game. He is a fisherman in the game, but in reality, he works for "Tohto Broadband Connection", a network operator company that worked with Argus to check the network connecting for SAO. He was in charge of maintaining the network connection before being trapped in the game.
PERSONALITY
Nishida is a kind old man who loves to fish and is one of the few people who enjoyed living their lives in the virtual world of SAO.
VOICE
"Doug Stone"
- american
- male senior
Ya catch anything? (Kirito nearly falls off his stool in surprise) Heh-heh-heh. Sorry, I didn't mean to sneak up on ya like that. (makes a long cast with his own fishing pole and sits on another stool) My name's Nishida and I'm a fisherman...in the game, anyway. Back in Japan, I was the head of network security for a company called Toto High-Speed Internet.
Being trapped in here for the past two years...even if I made it out alive, I don't know if I can go back to my old job, my old LIFE. Maybe, deep down inside, I had given up hope of EVER gettin' out. And I figured spending my time with a fishing pole between my mitts was the best thing for me. Pretty sad, huh?
DESCRIPTION
Godfree was one of the 10,000 players who got trapped in the death game, "Sword Art Online". He was an easygoing character and the Commander of the Vanguard of the "Knights of the Blood" (KoB).
PERSONALITY
Godfree was an easy going person and a person who disliked conflicts among comrades, such as when he brought Kuradeel and Kirito together in his party just for them to bury the hatchet. However, Godfree is also a kind of person who is slow to understand the situation at hand, like when he thought that Kuradeel's treachery was some form of training exercise.
VOICE
"Kyle Hebert"
- american
- male adult
I can't do anything about it, ma'am. Besides, as second-in-command, you KNOW we can't ignore the rules. If he's gonna be joining us, then it's my job as Commander of the front lines to take the kid out and evaluate his skills.
(struggling) The hell's going on?! YOU packed the water, Kuradeel! What'd you do?! You bastard!
DESCRIPTION
Additional Voices would be the voice of one-off/background characters. When submitting your audition, please send either your Demo Reel, or past work

DESCRIPTION
Kobatz was one of the 10,000 players who were trapped in Sword Art Online and was a lieutenant-colonel in the Aincrad Liberation Force (ALF).
PERSONALITY
Kobatz was a merciless and stubborn person, driving his men to their limits and forcing them to fight a difficult and pointless battle, even when they were exhausted and without proper preparations. He was also an arrogant and short-sighted man who refused to retreat from battle, claiming that the word "retreat" did not exist for The Army, even though the lives of his men were in danger and retreating would have allowed them to regroup and get reinforcements for the fight.
VOICE
"Joshua Tomar"
- american
- male adult
At ease! (The Guild all but collapses as Kobatz approaches the others) I'm with the Aincrad Liberation Army. Lieutenant Colonel Kobotz.
We share OUR information AND resources with civilian players all the time! And we don't charge a THING for it!! (Flashbacks to the "Tutorial" from Episode 1) We maintain order in the chaos of battle so that ALL players can LEAVE this world as quickly as possible!! THEREFORE, it's your duty to cooperate with us! So HAND OVER THAT MAP!!
DESCRIPTION
Kuradeel was one of the 10,000 players who were trapped in "Sword Art Online". He was originally assigned by his guild, the "Knights of the Blood", to protect Asuna. He was later revealed to be a member of Laughing Coffin, the infamous Player Killing guild.
PERSONALITY
Kuradeel first appeared to be a man who overstepped his bounds to protect the vice-commander of the KoB, Asuna, whether she liked it or not. He was also prideful and emotional, exemplified by him challenging Kirito to a duel when the swordsman claimed he could do a better job at protecting Asuna.
VOICE
"Doug Erholtz"
- male adult
- american
(approaches Asuna) You shouldn't go with him, ma'am! All him and his kind care about are themselves! You can't expect anything good to come from scum like that!
Y'know, I just killed an innocent bystander BECAUSE of you. How am I gonna live with myself?
DESCRIPTION
Akihiko Kayaba, known as "Heathcliff" in Sword Art Online, was the main antagonist of the Aincrad Arc and a supporting character in the Fairy Dance Arc and Alicization Arc. He was the development director and Game Master (GM) of "Sword Art Online", as well as the designer of the "NerveGear", the Cardinal System and "The Seed"
PERSONALITY
Prior to the SAO incident, Akihiko Kayaba was somewhat reclusive, preferring "to stay out of the spotlight and the media." It is possible that this behavior, in addition to his "destructive, unpredictive genius," added to "his allure" towards his fans.
VOICE
"Marc Diraison"
- male adult
- american
It's important to remember the following: there is no longer any way to revive someone within the game. (screens disappear) If your HP drops to zero, your avatar will be deleted from the System forever...and the NerveGear will simultaneously destroy your brain.
(KIRITO: And what about the 4000 people who died? What about them?!) They'll never return. In any world - real or virtual - once you're dead, you're gone.
The beginnings of a new world. I call it "The Seed". Once it "sprouts", you'll know what it is. What you DO with it is up to you. You can even delete it if you want. However, if you still have a tiny bit of fondness left for the virtual world, you'll take care of it.

VOICE

We're doin' a brisk business on account o' you, Kirito! The only thing that'd make this better is if ya decided to hold it every month!

Geez, you're the same as ever. (notices Asuna) Wait...WHOA! You're a solo player! What the heck are you doing with a...(REALLY notices Asuna)...girl?! (freezes in place)
(Emotional) Stay alive you hear? I don’t care how you do it. Just stay alive until the end.
(Shocked after Death Gun's reveal) In SAO we had a code, ‘Never let another Player’s HP hit zero no matter what.’ We knew if it dropped to nothing that Player would die.

(Whispering) What the hell's gotten into you?! You're supposed to be a solo player, man! What are you doing hanging around with Asuna?! I thought you guys hate each other's guts, straight up!
(Normal) Hey... my name's Agil. Kibaou, right? I want to make sure I'm on the same page... you say the ex-beta testers should be blamed for the rookies' deaths because they didn't help them... and you want them to apologize and give up their winnings... I leave anything out?
(Raised voice) Listen up! Everyone had equal access to this information. Even so, lots of players still died. Now, I didn't come here to point fingers at anyone... I'm here because I want to learn from those players' deaths. I'm here because I want to find out how we're gonna beat the boss.

If you want her, you'll have to use your Dual Blades to take her from us. If you can defeat me in combat, you'll be free to take Asuna. On the other hand, if you lose,...you WILL join the Knights of the Blood Oath!
I'm sorry about this, Kirito. (looking around at the crowd) I didn't think this would be such a big deal. This is crazy.
(nods slightly) Yes, I thought so. It was a mistake to think that would go unnoticed by you, but you were so strong and so fast, the only choice I had was to engage the System's Assist Mode. (more gasps; Heathcliff looks around at the stunned faces) Yes, I *am* Akihiko Kayaba! And, now that my identity has been revealed, it should come as no surprise that I'm the FINAL boss on the top Floor!

Well, in that case, I hate to spring this on you here but...if you want, we'd LOVE to have you in our Guild. Our mace weilder, Tetsuo, is the only one we can put out front right now. (pets Sachi's head) And then we've got Sachi over here. I was thinking having her switch to sword and shield. That way, she can fight on the front lines. The thing is she says she's not sure she can handle it. If you join us, maybe you can teach her a thing or two.
(in darkness of the flashback) You're a beater! You had no right to BE with us!
DESCRIPTION
Asuna Yuuki, known as Asuna in "Sword Art Online" (SAO), "ALfheim Online" (ALO), as well as "Project Alicization", where she had temporarily used the Stacia account, is the main heroine of the Sword Art Online series, the deuteragonist of the Aincrad Arc, as well as the protagonist of the Mother's Rosario side story. She is the daughter of the former CEO of RECT Inc. Asuna was one of the 10,000 players trapped in "Sword Art Online", where she was the sub-leader of the "Knights of the Blood" (KoB) guild. Her skills with the rapier had her earned her the nickname "The Flash"
PERSONALITY
Asuna originally did not care about dying in the game before meeting Kirito. That meeting drastically changed Asuna's personality and outlook on life. She soon takes most things Kirito says to heart and looks to him for help, using him as somewhat of a lifeline.
VOICE
"Cherami Leigh"

Hmm...I was just having a dream...about my old life. It was weird. In the dream I had, everything in Aincrad - everything that happened and meeting you - was just that: a dream. And I was so scared. But it wasn't. Thank God it wasn't.
If I've learned anything in the last two years, it's this: to keep doing the best we can 'til the very end. And, if we make it back to the real world, I promise I'm going to find you again, no matter what...and fall in love with you again.
I'm not gonna die, got that? I *can't* die because...I have to protect you.
