Superstratus is a comedy about a incompetent superhero and his nemesis who can't help but make a scene every time they try to do anything.
this is a show me and a few friends are working on, inspired off of shows such as:
Bobs Burgers
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Home Movies
It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia
Beavis and Butthead
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Bridge Kids
our small team is looking for animators and artists who can work with simpler art and animation to produce a more adult swim kind of vibe. we also need writers and voice actors good with deadpan and awkward delivery

Superstratus is a well-meaning, reserved, if a little oblivious and overconfident. He's trying his best to act the part of a superhero but a lot of the times he's naive and doesn't know what he's talking about, he's performative but not confident. he likes to put on a "confident" superhero persona but its really just ignorance and immaturity. hes not malicious just very blunt but not in an angry way in a dumb way. hes stupidly blunt with no ill intention. and a funny guy

Doctor Pluto Polarion is a mad scientist who despite his impulsive and larger than life personality, is very lonely. He builds machines and comes up with (very flawed) plans to destroy the city when he has nothing else to do or wants attention. Majorly alcoholic, he likes to bond with the superheros and cops that want nothing to do with him, maybe a little too much. He especially likes Superstratus who he constantly overshares to.

If everyone drinking my beer is as annoying to deal with as you, then they can keep it.

Jared's a regular blue collar dude with only one superpower: perfect balance. He's the sidekick of Superstratus who constantly puts him down along with Polarion because he cares about going back to his construction job in the morning. His construction job constantly interferes with his sidekick duties, causing a lot of friction between Superstratus and himself. He's just a regular dude who can't deal with Superstratus's shit half the time. Deep deadpan voice, like REALLY deep

What could I possibly do to stop it? Like all I can do is balance, you have that…wind surfing or, yeah.

We're not looking for any complicated animations here, just stuff that's easy to animate and can put out at a reasonable pace, most of the animation will probably be lipsyncing or someone walking on or off the screen, action does happen sometimes though, but it is minimal.
