Project Overview
Hello everyone. My name (username) is Daneyboy98. I'd like to welcome you to the Super Smash Bros. Invitational (Fan Series) Casting Call, written by CheesyGarlicMan (check him out on Wattpad) and me.
This fan series is based on the highly acclaimed crossover fighting video game series, Super Smash Bros., and based around Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (& 3DS) created by Masahiro Sakurai of Sora Ltd. and published by Nintendo.
Fan series premise: Super Smash Bros. Invitational is a fan series based on Nintendo’s crossover game Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The story follows a Mii cowboy named Chester, who gets an invitation from the martial artist Dane to participate in the upcoming tournament Super Smash Bros. where the Miis must battle with characters from other universes and attempt to claim the title of “Super Smash Champion” for an entire year.
Some of you may be wondering "Why are Mii Fighters the main characters in this series? Why not characters like Mario, Link, or Samus?" That's because with Mii Fighters, you can basically make up anything with their backstories and personalities (as long as they are appropriate), while with the characters that have their own game, you can't really do much about their personalities and backstories.
Anyway, we are looking for the following in this project: Voice Actors, an artist (Background and Storyboard), and an animator
REQUIREMENTS FOR VOICE ACTORS:
- 1) A decent and clear Microphone: If there is only a minor fuzz in the background, I won't mind it, but good quality will be the key. And make sure that the audio is not soft and quiet, and that there is no reverb in the audio. It needs to be loud enough for us to hear you clearly
- 2) Please record two takes of each line in the audition. This is absolutely necessary
- 3) Show Emotion: Try to feel like you are actually that character
- 4) Be committed to this project. This is also necessary
- 5) If you are auditioning for the role of one of the characters (apart from the Miis) make sure your recording is close to their actual voices in the respective games.

Started Casting, and final deadline pushback
Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you know that we have started to cast the roles of the characters. And if you're wondering why we have been changing the deadline repeatedly, it's because some of the roles haven't been auditioned for, So the final deadline will be the 29th November. Thank you for your patience. -
Added voice sound descriptions to Master Dane and Fox McCloud.

Some roles no one has auditioned for.
Hi Everyone. Thank you for your patience during this casting call. There have currently been auditions for almost all the roles. However, the only roles that no one has auditioned for are Rosalina, Luma, Bowser Jr., and Ness. So when all the roles have at least one audtion for them. That's when we will start casting. Thanks. And an IMPORTANT Update
Hi everyone. We just want to say thank you for auditioning in this casting call. We have currently listened to all auditions, and I must say, we are impressed. However, there are still some roles that no one has auditioned for, so we will be extending the deadline so that more people can have the chance to audition. Also, and this one is important, I've decided to scrap the role of an animator. This is due to the fact that animators may not have lots of time in their hands while working on other projects. Fortunately, we are keeping the role of the Artist on this casting call, and have changed it to either a Comic or Manga Artist. That's all for now.

Master Dane is a Mii Brawler in the Super Smash Bros. series, and is the deuteragonist during Super Smash Bros. Invitational (Fan Series). One of the many Mii Fighters training for 2017’s Smash Tourney, Dane invites a young cowboy named Chester Gargan to compete with him as a Mii Swordfighter, becoming his mentor in the process.
We're looking for Master Dane to sound like a character voiced by Vic Mignogna. (e.g. Rin Matsuoka - Free)

Anthony Wilde is a supporting character in Super Smash Bros. Invitational (Fan Series). He is a former Mii Swordfighter who had competed in the three previous SSB Tournaments, until he retired in 2016. Later, Anthony decided to become a Mii Trainer on Wuhu Island, training his potential successors to find his ideal replacement for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Invitational.
We're looking for Anthony to sound like either Dave Fennoy (Lee Everett) or Kevin Michael Richardson

Farmer Cletus William is the main antagonist of Super Smash Bros. Invitational (Fan Series). He is an elderly, deranged, redneck farmer who at one point ran a slave-trading business until all his prisoners were freed by a young Chester Gargan. Losing one of his most profitable types of work, a furious Cletus killed Gargan’s family and the two swore revenge on each other.

Peter is a minor character in Super Smash Bros. Invitational. He is a Mii Gunner who has made several attempts to join the SSB Tournament, but he was incapable of meeting the requirements to participate. After trying (and failing) to sneak into the tournament in 2016, Peter stole the SSB token from an invited competitor and rigs the voting so he could get into the 2017 Super Smash Invitational
