Project Overview

Sueîsuî and the Southern Regions is about Sueîsuî, a leader's son, facing the ever-increasing threats of a past evil leader to take back his place. Having a suspicious past, he struggles to make himself clear while saving the Southern Regions from endless trouble.

This series will be a long-term production, however not all characters will show up in every episode. Our aim is to do 4 seasons of about 20 episodes each, but it will be finalized after we air our first season. This series will go on YouTube and hopefully, prove to the world that community talents are amazing, and also together, we can achieve great things.

All voice actors here are, unfortunately, unpaid, as we don't have much funds. To be frank, we still haven't paid anyone in our team yet. But if you truly wish to help us, we are extremely welcome for your participation. Our list of characters will grow, and so will our positions for voice actors; please stay tuned to this post for more positions coming soon. It is also preferred that applicants have or register a Discord account; we have a Discord server for our project.

This production will be presented as an animated series on YouTube.

We have tried our very best not to clash with anything Disney has ever made.

Please note that I will try my best to send you a reply after your audition, but CCC only allows free plan users (like me) to send a message (to anyone) once a day. That's cruel, right?

    Alright epic voice artists, after much consideration into the character potential, voice sustainability and story development, LacTheWatcher is officially our new Tano, Congratulations. Jay, HBDL and Sir_Shaggert-- I've already commented in your auditions ask if you could contact me on Discord because your voices would be of much help to our latest recasts that I also urgently need the lines for. I hope you folks can reply ASAP. As for the remaining two who didn't make it into the cast-- you guys are still epic, and your voice acting are excellent. We just don't have characters for you guys yet--hang on this casting call and when we finally finish the story development for season 1, there'll be more casting calls incoming. As for everyone else, thank you SO much for your auditions. We have hit 50 auditions and our team now has 30 people, so thank you so much for your support. We'll have new casting calls opening up soon so stay tuned! But will we release the Prelude and the first two episodes by 2021? It's a rather risky goal, as we don't have enough artists and committed artists... And the less committed people are, the more impossible the project seems... *SEND HELP*

  • An Extremely Difficult Final Decision

    All shortlisted voice actors auditioning for the role Tano have proved their excellence in both their voice acting skills and also on their interpretation of the character itself. It has come to the time of a casting director's worst nightmare, of which who will get cast. I intend and insist that the final decision be made today. Only one voice actor gets the place. However, seeing the talent we've got here on CCC I will be contacting other five the shortlisted six who didn't make it into the team. Your voice could be of potential use to our team, given that our team has several more recasts and the procedure of going through a 2-week wait of casting calls would be too inefficient for our work schedule. And as always, good luck to the shortlisted six, there can only be one Tano. As of those who have been rejected, your audio quality, character interpretation or the voice acting may not be excellent enough, I hope you may learn from listening to other voice acting/radio dramas, or find a way to purchase better equipment for your career. I do hope that you will succeed in the future, in other casting calls in this amazing community of CCC. Thank you for auditioning for this role. Well that was a long speech to the finals.   • Final update for this round of casting calls

    Tomorrow is the deadline folks. If you think you can do better than your auditions here, you're welcome to reaudition before the deadline tomorrow. I'll be checking and deciding the final cast tomorrow at 9 AM, GMT+8. Also, if you can do multiple jobs (Such as artist, audio/video editor, animator, writer, composer etc) you may be PMed (through Discord or on this site). For example, if you can't get in the cast but you're a writer, we may consider having you in our team as a writer. Additional reminder that the final casting decisions on the auditions for the role Bongo will be decided on August 18th after the extra round. We are finding writers who can help make up small stories (20 minutes air time per episode) for episodes on the start of the season, which is the episodes that make the season a good start and doesn't really contribute much to the season storyline.

Writing 22 episodes on my own is exhausting. If you can help write some episodes, that'd be really useful for our team, so we can speed up our production.

Also, nobody writes perfect scripts. We need someone to help check if the story makes sense and is not boring. Script reviewers can also suggest changes such as new directions to help make the script better and the episodes better for everyone.

If you want to join, you can help out in any of the above areas. You can also help in all of them, but if you don't have much time, you can just help in part of them. We'd appreciate all help given. Thank you.

Due to the lack of animators, the initial plan of making an animated series has been converted to using artworks to show things happening to the scene.

You don't need to follow any of Disney's styles, but it is to note that the artstyle has to be consistent throughout the episode. Don't worry, the maximum amount of scenes in an episode is 18, and the maximum scene changes in a scene is... 2? *checks script* It won't be a lot of artwork, I promise.

High art quality is expected, such as adequate shading, character presentation, and such.

Heir to the Southern Regions leader. He lost his brother when he was young, and he eventually learnt that he should put down his past, and embrace the future. He has a lot of adventures with Kweli, his best friend, and goes into deep trouble that could change the Southern Regions forever.


This character appears in only a few episodes over the entire 4 seasons, so we may call you up once in a few years. We are finding people who can sound like a 6-year-old boy. Or else, I'll have to do it myself... *cough* My throat.

Best friend of Sueîsuî. He was a young orphan when he was found by Kubeili and Sueîsuî while they were in an adventure (not in S1E1). They went on adventures together, and after Kubeili’s death, he was always close to Sueîsuî, comforting his feelings and always going through hardships together. 


Again, this character only appears only several times, and even fewer times than Young Sueisui over the 4 seasons of the series. We are finding yet another voice actor who can imitate a 6-year-old boy... But please, don't sound the same...

The bad guy of the entire series. He has a rather complex backstory, and no one in the Southern Regions is really sure; he used to be a good leader, but one day, quite mysteriously, his mind turned upside down and he began to reign tyranny over this land of many. Defeated by Hodari himself, Tano, using the very power of nature he has mysteriously acquired, lives on by living in other bodies, and he plots over the years to seek revenge. Or, that's what WE think his plotting motive is. (It's a real big spoiler if we give you the right idea, we're saving it for season 2 :D )

The voice actor needs to sound completely split personality. He can be cunning, he can be mild, he can be crazy, he can be supportive; he needs to show a friendly side and a terrible, boss-like side to different characters, and the most important thing is, he must do a very natural, convincing, and realistic evil laugh.

This is a recast from our previous voice actor who announced he'd leave to complete his animation courses. He had joined our team early-on, back when I was just planning the story; and he has one of the most impressive evil laughs I've ever heard. To have him work on our animation and voice acting the lead bad guy has indeed proved too much for him and he has to put down voicing this character, and I do hope the new voice actor who volunteers to voice this character can live up to his legacy.

He is needed URGENTLY as the voicing for the Prelude is almost complete when the initial voice actor steps down; I need all the lines in the Prelude voiced before November 2019 so please do consider auditioning, thank you.

Hyena clan leader, and sorta the bad guys at the start. But you need to act both good and bad cos this character has got some sides. This character appears frequently (4 episodes over 11 is that enough?) and needs to be funny, hilarious and can do a good laugh. You ever done a hyena laugh? 

It is to note that this character comes with a song (YES, A SONG) and so singing qualities need to be guaranteed. And because there's just so many requirements, this character is LEAD. YES. LEAD.

Pianos are amazing and we use it to jot down our tunes everyday. But if we play the piano from the start of the season to the end of the season this show will be no more than a 1920s Charlie Chaplin thing. That's why we're finding orchestrators who can make our tunes into orchestrated music (or even electronic to add in the variety). This job has more instructions than just plainly orchestrating tunes; we may require different styles or effects, and the result must be in a playable mp3 file, and it may need to adjust to screen time. I know it's a lot for an unpaid job, but...
