Aoi is a calm and bright girl. She is very intelligent, possessing an encyclopedic knowledge and excellent analytical skills. She is highly determined towards her goals and approaches them very seriously. Aoi makes sure to plan ahead and research as much as she can for a situation. She is hard-working and has a bit of a perfectionist streak.

Ran is a quiet, independent girl with a professional air about her. She is multi-talented and mature but she has a short tether and does not like being pestered. Despite this, Ran is a kind person. She is humble about who she is as a person and idol, despite her popularity. She dislikes being nicknamed "Ran-chan" and prefers to just be known as "Ran." She doesn't eat sweets as she is concerned they will ruin her image.

Sumire is a very beautiful girl with a calm disposition and is kind, soft-spoken, and polite. She has always preferred being by herself, but this began to change when Akari became her roommate. She loves LoLi GoThiC and fortune-telling and is commonly seen carrying tarot cards with her.

Hinaki is an energetic girl with an informal manner about her that allows her to get along well with others. She's been in the entertainment business since childhood and thus has more knowledge and experience compared to most idols her age. Because of this, she'll sometimes feel insecure as nothing she says sounds fresh. She's a very fashionable girl and enjoys being so. She likes to dress up in coords and feels that there are clothes that suit everyone.

Yurika is usually quiet and soft spoken. She created her vampire character, based on an old vampire romance manga, in order to stand out at Starlight Academy. When in character she is confident and proud, however there are moments when she lets her character slip. When this happens her personality is that of a tsundere. She likes garlic flavored noodles, a fact only Ichigo and her friends know about, and has it delivered to her. Her vampire character is very popular both within the academy and the outside public.

Sakura is a very calm, polite, and soft-spoken girl. She is very friendly and a hard worker, like Ichigo. Upon her arrival at Starlight, Ichigo was assigned to be her senpai. Since then, she and her friends have helped Sakura gain confidence in herself, and develop friendships and companionships among each other and the rest of the Starlight community. By season two, Sakura has become more confident and assertive, though she still retains some of her soft-spoken nature.

Otome has a bubbly personality. She adores cuteness and often adds "Love You" or simply "Love" to almost every sentence. She speaks in first-person and generally uses the honorific "-tan" (e.g.: Ran-tan, Sakura-tan) when referring to her friends. Like Ichigo, she is very carefree and has a immense love for cute things, such as kittens and rainbows and is air headed. Otome is a very hard worker, and she will train for at least a year in advance. In episode 11, it was thought that she has a crush on Suzukawa, but it was his necklace she fell in love with. Even though Otome is somewhat clumsy like Ichigo, she fears that she will make a mistake during the real thing. Otome always performs with all her heart.

Having come from America, Kaede uses a lot of English phrases and has a habit of kissing people she meets on the cheek. She is friendly and has a fascination with magic. She enjoys performing various tricks and ensures that her fans are having a good time. Kaede does occasionally make large scale entrances skydiving for example into the Tristar auditions.

Mikuru is a sweet girl who is very energetic and well-meaning. She is very bright and loves flowers, to the point where she frequently compares them with other things. She also has a talent with clothing. She is rather free-spirited and casts her miracle, Mikuru's Miracle, upon stage and in everyday life. Due to her expertise with flowers, she likes to compare everything with them.

Rin has an energetic nature with a cooling and calm personality. She is passionate for dancing and always remembers to have fun. She easily gets flustered when teased or complemented by others.

She's a sweet, yet unexpectedly firm girl, who's shown to be a tease around her friends. Madoka actually has a lack of self-confidence in how she performs, like at the debut live for Skips♪ or when she asks her grandmother for a premium rare dress. A notable trait of hers is that she is very honest, which is often noted by her friends.

Juri is described as being "hot" by Akari and many others. She is very passionate about becoming an actress and is very passionate in general. She's also very hard-working and aims to become an actress all her own.

Lisa is a secure person who is very comfortable in her skin. She's calm, collected, and very level-headed and rational. She is much more mature than Nono and looks into things more deeply than she does. Despite her adult-like demeanor, she is shown to be easily embarrassed when something is mentioned to people she just met that could otherwise be considered childish or trivial in her eyes. It has been noted by her mother and Nono that Lisa is seldom passionate about anything. However when she is, the passion in her eyes becomes evident and she becomes determined to succeed in what lit a fire in her as shown with how she feels about Aikatsu.

A young girl from the country with a carefree demeanor, Nono's personality is a stark contrast to all previous main sexy-type idols with it being akin to a pop or cute-type. Compared to Lisa who is calm and mature, Nono is active and immature and can even be considered childish in some aspects. She doesn't think before she speaks or act and is a very excitable character. Nono is easily overjoyed- particularly when coming face to face with an idol and addition to her energy, she is also very encouraging and has full faith in those she trusts and cares for.

As a pop-type idol, Kī is very cheerful and energetic. She has a habit of saying certain words twice or even thrice before ending a phrase or sentence. This is revealed to be an influence from her mother who would do the same. Kī states that her mother is "her producer", having been her main boat of support and confidence in her childhood.

Sora is a talented designer whose calm and easygoing with her fellow peers. She's fond of the Bohemian culture, (hence the foundation of her brand,) and loves nature and animals - especially her pet cockatoo, Palm.

Maria is a kind, gentle and soft-spoken girl. She is very considerate, as shown in episode 69, when she took into account everyone's likes for her house party. Maria is very sweet and good with cosmetics.

Miyabi is a serious and calm girl. She's graceful, elegant, and hardworking. She's sometimes prone to fits of embarrassment when she does something out of character or when someone calls her cute.

Kokone holds a great love for sweets. She can be a little bit pushy or stubborn with her ways but when she sets her mind to something to goes at it with passion and gives it her all. She adores being given attention and gets finicky if someone doesn't know her.

Nina is an energetic and cheerful comedian who has a great passion for making others smile. Sometimes she can be solemn, but with support, she turns back to her happy self.

She is a mature girl with an aptitude for modelling that comparable to her older sister Yozora, whom she holds animosity towards. Because of her strong aura, she's described as being difficult to approach by her peers, but quickly takes to Koharu after she gives Mahiru cough drops. She has a cool attitude but has moments of kindness when it is shown to her.

Despite her airiness and gentleness, Hime is a super talented idol. Hime is known for her piano skills which are at the level of a professional, perfect pitch abilities, and her "angelic singing voice". She has gathered her experience of performing arts since she was born, ranging from drama to modeling to dancing.

Yozora is a charismatic and refreshing person. She is naturally reasonable, and is described as being a big sister-type person. She also has a bright personality and is very kind to her juniors. Yozora is adored by many for her natural beauty and mature mindset.

Yuzu is a mischievous person who speaks loudly and often smiles. She is also a person filled with curiosity, and a free-spirited idol that cannot turn away from interesting things.

She is described as being a reliable person. Although she has a cool personality and a strong outer appearance and might seem strict at first, she is very kind deep inside and is popular amongst the juniors.

She has a strong, self-composed personality and isn't easily influenced by others. She is poetic and often uses poetic quotes while speaking.

Elza has been a perfectionist ever since she was a child.

Rei is known to have a calm disposition at all times and has perfect behavior like that of a butler. She also has a firm character. She likes to collect cute things.

Koharu is delicate and quiet in nature with a gentle disposition. She always remains hopeful that things will work out in the end and will do her best to help others. She idolizes Yozora and has shown to have an alluring side at times. She is easy to fluster.

Kirara has a fluffy character and lives freely without restrictions. She tends to surprise those around her with her unexpected behavior.

Aria is a pure-hearted girl described as being an "overwhelmingly fairy-like idol.
