Project Overview
Hello! Welcome to the Strawberries Klance comic dub, brought to you by OPCD (Olympian Comic Dubs)!
The owner of this comic, who ironically, is also named Lance, has approved of this dub, and you can go check out his stuff! His instagram is @theonlycaliroll and if you would like to read the comic, it's on his other account, @strawberriesklance ! It is highly recommended you read it because you will get the best idea for your audition/role! Strawberries Klance is an ongoing comic and it is uncertain how long it will be. there are 4 episodes that are already scripted based on what has been released so far and it is only the beginning- therefore this will be an ongoing project and your voices will be needed! We also plan on featuring fanart for the comic in the ending credits, as well as voicing other mini-comics other than just Strawberries Klance for fillers.
This is a comic that includes LGBT content, and some characters are as such. If for some reason you have a problem with this, please do not audition! Thank you!
Try to have discord- if you don't that's fine, as long as you have an email. The discord is more so everyone can get to know each other. We are a cast, so technically that makes us a team! Plus, there may be a small "meet the VAs!" episode.
Mic quality is important- no echos, puffiness, etc.
As a heads up, roles may be added due to it being an ongoing comic, so if you miss out or don't get a part, you will most likely get a chance at another.
If you have any bloopers that you feel are pretty funny, feel free to save them! We may include a blooper reel.
The due date is flexible (October 10th) but this will be the date I send you the script for the first episode at least, if not earlier. The characters on the project page are listed in priority order- timewise. In other words, I need the first 14 roles before October 10th. Those are all the roles featured in the first episode, including editors.
Olympian Comic Dubs was started by a small group of creators located in varying parts of the US. This comic dub will be our first, and our debut. We are small, very small, but we hope this will pave the way to a brighter future so one day we can create our own publishing company, Olympian Comics. Some of us have been working on our comics for years, whether it's storylines or art or both, and we are very passionate about it. If you edit/ have edited in MEPs, this job is for you. It's basically an opening sequence for the comic dub, displaying the main characters for a frame of about 2 seconds to go along with each beat. The comic is based on the song "Strawberries and Cigarettes" by Troye Sivan so naturally that is the opening theme. 0:41- 1:09 is the time frame is you would like to familiarize yourself with it.
