This will be a group of voice actors/singers dubbing comics, covering Steven Universe songs, and singing SU-inspired songs of our own in the voices of characters from the show. Please watch the info video above before auditioning!

-Lapis has already been casted to Wivrus, Sadie to Avav, and I will be voicing Peridot and Connie myself

Steven is the youngest member of the Crystal Gems, the son of Rose Quartz and the only known half-human half-gem hybrid. He is energetic and fun-loving most of the time, but when necessary can be mature way beyond his age. Steven's selfless nature often leads him to bottle up his own emotions which he believes to be unimportant, and to sacrifice himself for others. He often feels responsible for Rose Quartz's absence, no matter how many times the gems reassure him, and works tirelessly to live up to his mom's legacy. Steven sees the good in everyone--his optimism and care for others should shine through in his voice.

Pearl is one of the longest-standing members of the Crystal Gems. Back on Homeworld she belonged to Pink Diamond, but when Pink fell in love with Earth and decided to fight for the planet as Rose Quartz, Pearl fought by her side as a free gem. Pearl harbored romantic feelings for Pink/Rose, so when Steven was born she blamed him for the death of his mother; but as time passes she learns to move on. Pearl is shown to be reluctant to socialize with humans, and struggles with the human concept of change, believing it's not in her nature. She is a perfectionist, and can be uptight at times, but she always does her best for the other gems and in her duty of protecting humanity.

    I was going to drink a juice and wear these -- ugh -- pants! And hit people gently enough as to not actually hurt them, and you'd say, "Wow, Pearl is really cool!" But nooo, instead, we drove to loud music, chased a mysterious woman into the night, and broke the law. Ugh, I've lost my edge. I should have stayed home with the puzzle.

Garnet is leader of the Crystal Gems since Rose Quartz's death; she has a strong, commanding presence, and her sense of humor is often masked under a serious tone. She takes her duty as one of Steven's caretakers seriously, judging when to give him space and encouragement to grow as a person, and when to keep him on the sidelines and out of danger. She's patient, rational, and often who the other gems look up to for guidance. Garnet is the fusion of Ruby and Sapphire, and possesses Sapphire's fusion vision ability. However, she is not without faults. Sometimes she can be brash, or lose her trademark cool composure when a situation spirals out of control.

Amethyst was made on Earth, setting her apart from Garnet and Pearl, as she never knew what it was like to be forced into the role she was made for. She's reckless, loud and often vulgar, with an inability to take most things seriously. However, her heart is in the right place, and as the series progresses she grows into her role as a Crystal Gem and Steven's caretaker without losing her fun-loving side. Secretly, Amethyst struggles with her self-worth, believing herself to be worse than all the other Crystal Gems. This isn't aided by the discovery that she's defective--she emerged from the Kindergarten too late, and as a result she's only half the size she should be as a Quartz gem. She unhealthily bottles up these feelings, in an attempt to hide her low self-esteem from the others under a carefree mask. Amethyst is arguably the closest gem to Steven, and the two of them help each other overcome their insecurities about being "wrong".

Sapphire is one of Garnet's fusion components, along with Ruby. The two gems have chosen to stay fused as Garnet permanently, as a symbol of their relationship--but occasionally they will split apart for a multitude of reasons. Sapphire always appears calm and indifferent, despite any conflicting emotions she might be feeling inside. Her future vision lets her predict possible routes ahead and act accordingly.

Note: while Ruby and Sapphire don't get much screen time in the actual show, this project will feature them in one of its first original songs, and in many comic dubs

Ruby is half of Garnet along with Sapphire, who she is married to. Ruby is a hot-tempered gem who tends to let her emotions get out of hand - and once she explodes it becomes difficult to reign her back in. But she is also selfless and willing to admit when she is wrong.

Jasper is a bully who looks down on anyone she deems weaker than her. Ruthless and violent, she's considered the ultimate Quartz Solder back on Homeworld, despite the fact that she was made on Earth. Her whole world revolves around battle, and claiming victory--her reputation will never be good enough for her, she always feels the need to keep moving, keep fighting. She admires power in gems such as Lapis when they are fused as Malachite.

Note: Jasper is marked as a lead role because although she hasn't gotten much screen time in the show, she will be in many of the comic dubs we work on. She won't have a very large singing role, although I'm planning to have her featured in at least one original song

Rose Quartz was the caring and compassionate leader of the Crystal Gems. She believed that gems could become anything they wanted, and chose to see the beauty in everything. She was fascinated by human capacity for change, to the point of desiring to be part of that change herself as Steven. However, Rose wasn't perfect. She often kept things from the other Crystal Gems, such as the bubbling of Bismuth, and treated humans as her playthings (to Greg's protest). Before the rebellion, she was Pink Diamond, part of the Great Diamond Authority along with Blue, Yellow and White Diamond. Pink was demanding, naive, even childish. But after visiting her colony with Pearl, she was astounded by Earth's beauty and decided to fight for its freedom as Rose Quartz.

Bismuth was one of the original Crystal Gems. She is friendly, humorous, loyal, and courageous. She fiercely hates Homeworld and its caste system, and will do whatever it takes to fight back. During the war, she invented a weapon called the Breaking Point which has the strength to effortlessly shatter a gem. But Rose Quartz refused to use the Breaking Point and instead poofed and bubbled Bismuth when she wouldn't relent. In recent episodes it has been shown that she feels genuinely remorseful of her past.

    We took a huge blow from Homeworld. But, now, we're back in Bismuth.

Greg is Steven's kind, easygoing, and sometimes goofy father. He always does his best for his son, but is easily overwhelmed when anything magic-related comes up. Although Greg is often comic relief, he's also able to be a serious and mature figure in Steven's life whenever the situation calls for it, usually prompting Steven to relax and let himself be a normal kid.

Lars was formerly a huge jerk most of the time. In an effort to appear cool and uncaring, and to hide his low self-esteem, he pushed everyone who tries to help him away. He secretly cared more than he lets on, especially about Sadie, but was embarrassed to be seen with her because it broke down his indifferent facade. When he was revived by Steven on Homeworld, his real personality was able to shine through, away from the stress of his Beach City social life. As Captain Lars, he is a determined and passionate leader for the Off Colors.

As part of the Great Diamond Authority, Yellow Diamond is one of the leaders of Homeworld, and one of the most powerful gems to exist. She is a harsh, commanding presence among her subjects. Although she acts irritated with Blue's constant bouts of sadness, Yellow is patient with her and the two Diamonds share a deep bond, especially due to the loss of Pink Diamond.

As part of the Great Diamond Authority, Blue Diamond is one of the leaders of Homeworld, and one of the most powerful gems to exist. She is much more emotional than Yellow, and is even capable of inflicting her emotions upon others. Blue feels Pink's loss deeply, and for thousands of years has been unable to move on. However, as a Diamond she does have a commanding leader-like side, compelling her subjects to remain loyal.
