Story Overview
"Stereotypes" is an original Gacha Club series made by me. It follows the main character, Coraline, as she helps the students at her new school learn to be themselves while she battles with her own issues.
Disclaimers!
1. This series contains themes of bullying, mental illness, abuse of many kinds, violence and swearing. This project is not a happy go lucky type.
2. I am only 16 and writing and video making is a hobby. I am not professional.
So, you'll have to deal with mediocre scripts, anxious rambles and stupid brain moments on my part, and the awkward (and slightly cringe-worthy) moments from other auditioners or members of the cast (some are younger than I am)
3. This series also has LGBTQ+ topics and characters and I need you to be accepting of that.
But, if you're okay with all that, then go right on ahead

I also have a Discord server for this project with other auditioners so some roles may not go to members on CCC, and I may ask you to join the Discord Server.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
I cant make this into a VA series. I'm so sorry to everyone who auditioned and I'm truly greatful for your interest in the series but I just dont have the time or energy to manage a VA series in the way that I want to so I'm cancelling this. I'll still make it a series if you're interested in watching but it wont be voice acted.

Coraline is not in the best place mentally I need someone who can cry or maybe even scream realistically- though if you're a good enough fit i can work around it.
I'd also prefer her to have an Australian accent though it is not necessary.

Age: 15. Voice: mid, teen girl.
Coraline is the illegitimate child of a wealthy woman who had an affair with a butler as revenge against her husband. Growing up, she was raised in the wealthy household, appearing as their child to the public. However, she actually endured multitudes of kinds of abuse by the woman and her husband. This family was actually connected to various criminal organisations and to the government. The family was found out and the government took her into a Witness Protection Program where they tried to rehabilitate her. After a few years, Coraline was allowed to attend a school.
(Tired, Delirious) "Why in the world did I set my alarm for 7:30...?"
(Casual, goofy greeting) "Hello attractive headphones lady!"
(Sassy comeback) "And you got dumber since I lasr saw you."
Jackson is a character who appears nice at first but is actually mean and i'd like for that to be heard in his voice.

Jackson comes from a wealthy family and grew up along side Coraline and his twin brother, Jake. He was raised in constant competition with his brother to determine who would inherit the business. After a while, Jake seemed to be lacking, losing interest in the pursuit and doing his own thing. Suddenly, the family that was partnered with theirs was arrested by the government and they were made to sign an aggreement to never speak of that family again.
(Giving a tour) "Aaand this is the rooftop"
(Happy) "Surprise! I'm here."
(Infatuation/Admiration) "She's so preettyy"
Tanya is a tomboy so a more masculine female voice will suit her

Age: 16. Voice: mid-low teen female
Tanya was born in India with her parents, who immigrated to Australia for better job oppertunities. Eventually she found out that they were involved in criminal activity and ran away to support herself. Many years later, she regrets the decision but is finding it hard to track down her family. She works 2 jobs and is on an art and IT scholarship to her school. She is very hard working as she lives alone and earns everything herself.
(Chill greeting) "Wassup"
(Amused confusion) "Uhhh what was that about?"
He's a soft boi so- yeah

Cody is one of three children in a small house. He was raised mostly by his older brother and a little by his mother. His father is a soldier, and was gone for a lot of the time. His mother is a nurse and so she would be too busy to take care of him. He then helped raise his younger sister. This caused him to grow up a little bit too fast and so he is prone to taking on responsibility and naturally caring for others. When he was young, he met his friend, Hunter, who he saw as his only friend and grewattached to him. As they got older, Hunter became mean and dragged Cody into his bad decisions. This has resulted in Cody taking on the "bad boy" role even though he does not look, sound or act it.
(Inquisitive internal dialogue) "Huh... she's wearing the school's uniform... she must be the new girl."
(Playful amusement. He just watched his friend fall over and was laughing.) "Do you need help ma'am?"
(Concern) "Hunter... you didnt do anything bad, right?"
Average jock guy. Hes actually kinda nerdy tho I'm ngl

Jake comes from a wealthy family and grew up along side Coraline and his twin brother, Jackson. He was raised in constant competition with his brother to determine who would inherit the business. After a while, Jake lost interest in the pursuit and started doing his own thing. Suddenly, their partnered family were arrested by the government and their family was made to sign an aggreement to never speak of their family again. However, Jake, in his carelessness did not even read the aggreement, he just signed.
(Calling out) "Ey yo! Isn't she that weird girl we hung out with?"
(Flirty) "You got cuter since I last saw you"
(Surprise) "Well... she's changed"
She's the cliche popular girl who actually has a heart of gold behind the mean façade

Age: 15. Voice: mid-high teen female
Victoria was brought up to believe your appearance determines your worth and that the only way you are truly worth anything is to be popular and marry a handsome, rich man. So when Coraline, someone who clearly did not fit her standards of "pretty", showed up in her school, and she didn't even care about it, it made her angry.
(Insult in Passing) "Hybrid freak!"
(Mocking) "*giggle* what? You think Jackskn wants to be around YOU? Dont be stupid!"
(Disgust) "Slut. We all know about girls who hang around Cody!"
She's also a cliche mean girl. She's Victoria's "bff" and is practically a walking blackmail mafia and rumour mill

Age: 15. Voice: high teen female voice
Blair's parents split up at a young age and she was seperated from her twin sister, Millia. However, they both got comfortable in their respective homes, so when they were old enough to choose, they both decided to stay with each parent. Of course, there were visits and gatherings and Blair's parents were slowly becoming friends again, but, Blair and Millia had drifted far apart and were pretty much polar opposites. When Blair was alone and upset about the divorce, she met Victoria and felt as if thats the only place she was truly accepted and so she stayed.
(Defensive) "Have some respect!"
(Sad) "Amy...? Where are you going...?
(Disgusted/angry) "I've seen her walking to and from school with Cody! What a slut..."
Shy character but shes actually sassy as hecc so be prepared to sass it up my dudes.
She's smart and does everything to impress her dad so she hangs around the popular kids even though they dont really like her.

Age: 16. Voice: mid to low teen female
Amelia grew up under a lot of pressure from her dad, who is the principal of her school, and so everything she did was to impress him. Eventually she decided a submissive, quiet and shy persona would stop him from getting angry. She was strung along by Victoria as an accesory to their group but she stayed to try and impress her dad. However, she became genuinely close with Blair.
(Sad) "But... why would you want to hang out with... somone like me?"
(Dismissive, annoyed) "Sorry Blair, I can't hang out today. Maybe next time."
(Sad, then happy) "And you promise you wont leave?" (Pause) "thank you, thank you, thank you!"
She's kind of a "bad girl". absolutely loyal to Hunter, follows what he says and is completely devoted to him. She is also in the "bad boy" group. She is bitter and cold. However, she can be sweet.

(Annoyed) "You heard him. Fuck off."
(Schemey) "Don't worry, H, I'll keep her busy"
(H is a nickname, just say the letter H)
Main "bad boy" dude. He kinda has anger issues ngl

Age: 16. Voice: mid teen male
Hunter was simply a troublemaker as a kid but as he got older, his parents tried to push him to care more about school and be more responsible. This made him more rebellious and he made a few bad decisions that got him to where he is now.
(Confrontational, angry) "listen here, pipsqueak i aint entertaining my stupid dad, and you arent gonna either. So you are gonna. Leave. Me. Alone"
"*laughs* new students are so naive."
(Sarcastic, angry) "Great. Woohoo. Bff reunion. So happy for you. Who cares! Get the fuck off our turf."
This is one of the main antagonists - he's an asshole. And a sociopath. He sucks. And hes very decietful so i would love it if you could switch between genuine and polite sounding, creepy and fake sounding and absolute rage.
Other Information:
Age: 50 something. Voice: mid to low adult male
Eli is a very rich and successful business man. His family was used by the government to infiltrate criminal organisations. However, Eli and his family were actually doing the opposite, they were in these criminal gangs and was sharing government information with them. His wife had an affair as revenge for all of his affairs which resulted in a child. This child was the downfall of his family as she burnt down the estate which resulted in his and his wife's arrest. Eli is sociopathic and manipulative and has been for a very long time.
"Thank you for the warning... old friend"
(thank you for the warning is a neutral polite sort of voice and old friend should sound a lot more creepy)
(Absolutely creep master here dude)
"Hi.... sweetie"
(Mock-pleading and then a harsher tone. You can experiment with this one I wanna see what y'all come up with)
"You wouldn't want daddy to get in trouble would you? (pause) good! So keep quiet."
The other main antagonist. Similarly to Eli, she's a horrible person but instead of being psychotic shes just kinda tired and over it. However, she has her mood swings and has a bit of a temper. Shes monotone most of the time though.
Other Information:
Age: 50 something. Voice: mid to high adult female
Lynn was manipulated by Eli as a teenager into falling in love and marrying him. After the birth of their son, Eli revealed his true nature and his criminal life to Lynn who was now an asset to the crimes. In order to keep herself from being incriminated and to protect her son, she stayed with Eli even if he was abusive. She was fed up, though, and had an affair with a butler that resulted in an unwanted daughter who eventually got them both arrested.
(Tired, blank, dismissive) "I thought it'd be a little unjust if he got the last kill"
(Anger) "Nothing you can do can make up for it! You weren't even suppose to exist..."
(Anger, then calmer) "I could! I could end it! RIGHT NOW. RIGHT HERE. (pause) but i wont, you dont deserve that..."
