Statue of Condillac, the subject of a thought experiment of the 18th-century philosopher Étienne Bonnot de Condillac. The fantasized statue was marble and in human form. Condillac imagined it to be endowed, one by one, with the several normal human senses. First smell, then taste, followed by hearing, vision, and finally touch. He argued that each of the components of human consciousness develop gradually from sensory experience. All knowledge, awareness, and even reason itself are ultimately rooted in experience.All characters have been added so go and audition!
