Static Takes Center Stage is a quirky and heartwarming musical about Static, the quiet observant teen who feels invisible in a lively city. Surrounded by his friends, the very over the top cocky rival Koopa, supportive and sweet Sandwich, energetic and happy Kai, grounded yet honest Jayster, and the ensemble Static learns that being seen isn’t about being loud or first. Through chaotic rehearsals, festival preparations the characters navigate through being rivals, their own friendship, and self discovery. In the end, Static shines on stage, Koopa earns a satisfying second place, and everyone celebrates the joy of being truly seen.

Static is a very too himself guy, he hates social interaction and this whole idea of participating in the festival for the first time is driving him crazy, he wants attention, but he also doesn't want to burden of seeking it
