Seeking voice actors for Starstruck, a 2D Animated short film about an insecure musician who adopts a magically altered Rock Star persona to gain admiration from fans, but risks losing his closest friendships in the process.

  • Reopening auditions for last minute submissions!

    I've reopened for last-minute submissions to Starstruck! Thank you to all who have applied. During the next few days, I will be narrowing down my final decision.

    I have received many auditions for Ira, but fewer for Joey and even less for Anton. If you are interested in either of those roles, please don't hesitate to audition!

    I also wanted to share some more artwork! I've been working hard on this film, and can't wait to see it come together.

    Hello! I wanted to keep you guys up to date with progress. Working on the film has kept me busy and I am hoping to be able to sort through voice acting applications asap.

    It is the final day to apply for Starstruck! I am looking forward to hearing your amazing auditions, thank you again for the amazing reception this project has recieved. I can't wait to finally give my characters voices!

  • Got some notes yesterday + timeline update

    Hello Starstruck followers!

    Yesterday I hosted a Pitch & Critique event at Sheridan (my school) and got some amazing notes. The result of the notes is a line change in the script that solves a lot of the pacing issues. Check out the new version of the script here:

    It's been amazing seeing the feedback and excitement towards this project, and I'm excited to keep working.

    My School's "Reading Week" (break week) is coming up on October 18th - 24th. During this time, I will be narrowing down my voice actor options and reaching out to those who make a good fit for the roles.

Lead Role. 

The frontman of the band, an insecure singer who dreams of being a star. Singing ability is a bonus. Must be able to convey insecurity masked with confidence, regret, and feelings of friendship, even when recording separately.
