Stardew Valley: Voices of Pelican Town
Project Overview
*We are recasting 2 roles and searching for one more naturally* Hey there! We are glad you have found our project! This is a Fandub of the game Stardew Valley, as it naturally does not have voice acting. This project started by me playing the game and making up voices for the characters until I decided to tell someone about it and they said they would be able to code the mod and so it started! I am aware that this has been tried before and I acknowledge the amount of work that has to be done, so I hope I can find a group of people willing to help me out with this project. This project is non-profit, due to it being a mod. Make sure you read each character description carefully and choose the ones you think fit you the best, but don't let that stop you from auditioning for another one, everybody is welcome to try out for any role they like. Jas is a villager of Pelican Town. She is very young and lives together with her Aunt Marnie and her godfather Shane. She loves playing with her toys or playing outside with her friend Vincent. The actress should be able to sound like a small girl and be able to sound very energetic.

Shane's gone a lot, and Aunt Marnie is busy all the time... so I have to invent my own games. I'm thankful for all my toys

Sandy lives in the desert and operates a shop called Oasis. She gets confused about why there suddenly is a customer as she almost never receives them. She is somewhat flirty. The actress should be able to convey a grown, flirty woman that will often pay compliments to the player and sound mature.
Hello hello, sweetie! I'm so glad that the bus is back in service. It was starting to get lonely out here. ...I almost went out of business. Hey, but now you're here to buy a whole bunch of seeds... right, sweetie?

If I didn't have this shop to run I'd come back to the valley with you for a day or two... just you and me on the old farm. You'll just have to visit me more often so I don't get depressed.
Pam is a villager in Pelican Town. She lives together with her daughter Penny in a trailer near the river. She spends most of her time drinking at the saloon and working. She is often complaining about herself or her life. The actress should be able to sound a little gruff and have a tougher attitude than most of the characters.
I was reading the newspaper this morning but then I got depressed. It's a rotten world, kid. Keep your head screwed on right and you'll make it through in one piece... That's what my Pappy always used to say. Heh heh heh.
You know, I've been thinking... I wish I had a hobby. Something to do other than hanging around at that saloon every night. You got any ideas? ...Ehh. Maybe I'll play checkers against myself.
*Sigh*... I guess I'll be popping a frozen dinner into the microwave tonight.
