Star Wars: Empire is a fan-made radio drama inspired by the Clone Wars and written by me, a young actor who received training in screenwriting from Jaclyn Whitt, a Canadian writer with 36 screenwriting awards. The goal of this production is to bring the magic of the Clone Wars series to the Imperial era and give life to the faceless Stormtroopers. We do not attempt to repaint the Empire as the good guys, obviously they were an evil regime, but we do acknowledge the perspectives that were within it, the justifications that were made, and the soldiers who didn't realize what they were fighting for. Hopefully I'll be able to make an animation of this one day, but I can at least tell the story with a radio drama that has cool sound effects and voice lines until that day comes. Make sure to leave your Discord username in the audition text and ensure that friend requests to your account are allowed.
Regarding voice changers to make yourself sound like a Stormtrooper, I already have a method to do this. If you wish to do it yourself, you may, but do it in addition to an unmodified read. That's all. I wish you all the best with your auditions. I am excited to listen to them.

Nation Fior is the main character of the story. He's the Commander of his Stormtrooper Legion and was one of the first TK-Troopers after the decommissioning of the Clones. Born on Carida, he is supremely loyal to the Empire, and he has had a personal experience with a Jedi-turned-Sith that he suffers PTSD from; he has a burning hatred for the Jedi. Furthermore, he sees the Empire as primarily a force of good in the galaxy, though "good" is defined by his pro-Imperial upbringing.
We need a strafing run down the valley just ahead of our position, danger close, I repeat, danger close. We have incoming tanks threatening our walkers.
You know, I held a lot of respect for the clones; I still do. My squad was trained by a member of Delta Squad named “Scorch.” He and the other clones led by example. Any course they gave us, they’d do it first. They would always do it perfectly too; nobody in my squad ever matched our instructors. They really inspired me as a recruit.
(After executing surrendering Rebels) And you think that they wouldn’t do the same to us, TK-270? They’re terrorists who see our helmets as the embodiment of evil. Now put yours back on and get in your walker, Pilot. It’s cold; I don’t need you in medbay.
James Nyre, born on Kuat, is the Admiral of the Star Destroyer "Decimator." Known for his heavy handed tactics and questionable use of Base Delta Zero, indiscriminate orbital bombardments, he is a feared and powerful asset to the Imperial Navy. He offers no quarter to captured Rebels, often preferring summary execution. His hatred of the Rebels, who he deems nothing more than lawless terrorists and murderers, comes from his father, a civilian worker, dying during a Rebel raid on the Kuat Shipyards. For him, his actions are retribution for his father's death. He is not a psychopath, however, and is a very reasonable superior who is generally well liked by the average trooper.
(After the starboard cannons were hit by a bombing run) Send a medical team and transfer ammo and droids from the reserve stockpile. Let us end this before more lives are lost to these terrorists. Focus fire on their corvettes! Clear a path for our bombers to strike their frigates.
Beautiful, isn’t it? The Rebellion in flames, scrambling for their lives like animals. Now, send out the bombers. Destroy those frigates. None shall survive this day.
(Calm yet tinged with anger) Tell me exactly how we lost a 150,000 credit war machine to a group of terrorists.
Tyler Gaw, 33, is a Grey Jedi of sorts. Steadfast in his allegiance to what is right and just, he is a true protector of the innocent, but when it comes to his enemies, he offers no mercy and taps into the dark side.
Take anyone who wishes to leave and run to the Talz’s village. I and those who wish to stay shall hold them off.
I won’t be the one dying.
(Build up to heavy breathing as you pace and channel the Dark Side before voicing rapid lightsaber strikes of cutting down Stormtroopers.)
Major Brad Pota is Commander Fior's executive officer. He's a loyal second in command and a close friend, but they have their disagreements behind closed doors. Unlike Fior, Pota recognizes the evil in the Empire, despite the fact that he views the Rebellion as only making things worse. He's a compassionate leader and person, but he's an Imperial officer at his core.
(After Fior tells him about TK-Trooper Training) Wow, that sounds amazing compared to the Cadet Program. I got trained by some fat Captain who got reassigned to us as a punishment. He probably couldn’t have done our training courses even if he wanted to by the judge of him.
(Holding back Fior) Naton, stop! We need him alive! Listen to me!
Alright, I’m in command now! Sweep the buildings, Troopers; move it! You three, detain the Jedi and, agh, make sure the Commander didn’t kill him.
Sergeant Major Ichiko Yumi is a hotshot sniper who has managed to obtain command of a platoon despite, or perhaps because of, her disinterest in abiding by regulations, instead doing whatever she sees best in the moment to achieve a goal, whether that be professional or personal.
(Seeing a Jedi, panicked) That-that’s not- Jedi!
(After Stunning Commander Fior) He was going to kill him, but now neither are dead. You’re welcome.
(While being shortly detained) For the record, this is ridiculous!
Lieutenant Anna Iun, Communications Officer of the Star Destroyer "Decimator," is a strictly professional officer of the Imperial Navy and carries an often cold demeanor. She is very much a "Work first, everything else after" kind of person.
The battle in space is not over yet, Commander, however I'll attempt to reassign some TIEs. Hold your position until they arrive.
Commander, why does your beacon say that your forces have stopped advancing? The Admiral has ordered you to resume your attack.
It’s what!? What could have possibly happened? How is your Commander incapacitated, casualties heavy, and AT-AT support destroyed?
Connor Caleb, a young AT-ST Pilot, grew up on Imperial propaganda and naturally joined the Imperial military. As his service continued, however, he grew increasingly disillusioned by the Empire. He enlisted to protect people and ensure that the galaxy was a safe place, and he does that when the Star Destroyer he's stationed on fights pirates and destroys their bases, but the treatment of aliens and captured Rebels makes him question everything he's been told. Perhaps he'll leave the service one day, but that day isn't today. Not yet.
(To his co-pilot after being ordered to summarily execute Rebels) They’re still people, Jacks…

I can‘t believe this. I enlisted in the Empire to protect it, not to execute unarmed people running away and begging for their lives!
Jacks Rijan, an AT-ST pilot, is a simple young man. He does his job and gets paid; that's about all he could care about. He doesn't care about what the orders are, nor is he too concerned with politics; he's just looking to get by and have a good time during shore leave.
(After being ordered to summarily execute Rebels) It’s part of the job, Connor. He’s right, though. They’re just terrorists.
Yeah, well, stinks for them. I don’t know what to tell you, Man. Good soldiers follow orders.
(Fighting a Jedi, panicked) No, no, no! How do we stop him!?
(Imperial Weapons Officer) Admiral, they struck our ammo stockpile for our starboard cannons! I’m receiving reports of multiple casualties, and those guns will run dry without that ammo.
(Rebel Ship Captain) We need to get into hyperspace. Quickly, Lieutenant, get us out of here! We’re no use to the Alliance dead.
(Rebel Lieutenant speaking to Jedi) I’ll make sure they’re safe, but, Tyler, don’t die out there.
