St. Agatha City: Walter and Connor
Project Overview
Now that the Beta for St. Agatha City is out, I'm going to be going in groups of two to cast the remaining characters for Chapter 0: Welcome to St. Agatha City. Currently looking for suitable actors for Connor Infected, an easy going punk rocker, and Walter Dupree, the captain of the local rugby team.

Connor is a punk, and an outgoing extrovert, who relies on human interaction to feel normal. He's involved in a lot of activities to keep from getting stir crazy, including being the lead guitarist in a local band called Jimmy Rabbit. You can usually find him socializing and causing minor trouble with his main friend group comprised of Walter Dupree, Tara Strange, Ivy Kohen, and Giv Ahmed. He is low contact with his family, but he has a younger brother, Igor. His best friend is Walter. They are constantly bickering and trying to beat each other up.
Connor is extroverted and surprisingly bubbly for his dark, alternative look, but he's still got a hothead and willingness to do violence for the right cause. Connor is transgender, and transitioned early in high school. Though trans actors are preferred, I will not be asking anyone to out themself, and anyone is free to try out for this role.
Connor has a rough, masculine, and fairly ‘sexy’ voice, with a standard Midwestern American accent.
"Giv is kind of always saying weird stuff like that. Smartest guy I know... but just last month he kept trying to convince Tara that pigs can 'see the future.' And the thing is, I don't think he was joking."
(casually, a bit flirty) "Yes ma'am, right down main street."
(dryly) "They'd break me in half like a twig, Walt. Your teammates are all two hundred pounds of beef."

Walter is the captain of the St. Agatha rugby team, and friend to Tara Strange, Connor Infected, Giv Ahmed, and Ivy Kohen. He is a brash, blunt person, who often speaks before he thinks. However, he almost always means well, and cares deeply about his friends and his community. He can be a bit pushy about his interests (really pushy) but other than that, he's hard not to get along with, even if he can be a bit aggressive and intense. You can count on him, and he’ll go to (frighteningly) extreme lengths to help out those he loves.
Walter does does stand up comedy, and prides himself on his showmanship. A bit of a dumbass and risktaker, Walter is willing to gamble it all for a laugh. Rumored to have been involved in gang-motived murder growing up and let off the hook via bribery, he cannot confirm or deny this. What are you, a cop?
Walter is a loud, cheerful person, with a deep, booming voice. He has a standard Midwestern American accent.

(Teasing, but affectionate) "Who ya got with you, pipsqueak?"
(Encouragingly) "See? Ivy was right. Talking to new people is good."
(Threatening, but trying to come across as light hearted) "Tell him I owe him one."
