About Spread the Signal - Student Ad Campaign

***This is for a student project for and advertising course on non-profit and corporate advertising. This campaign is for global poverty and global internet access awareness. I am looking for someone who sounds convincing, warm, genuine and excited to get people interested in my campaign and donating.***

Today’s global leaders have recently come together to create Global Goals - the world’s most important “to-do list,” that will create positive changes in the next 15 years.

One item on this list is making strides to end extreme poverty. This may seem like a huge task, but there is a unique ways we can help.

Internet connectivity could generate $2.2 trillion in economic growth and more than 140 million new jobs.

But, in developing countries, only 2.1 billion people are using the Internet! That means the other 3.9 billion people in developing countries are left completely offline.

If everyone had access to the internet, the opportunities opened up to them could lift 160 million people out of extreme poverty and the improvements in health care could help save the lives of 2.5 million people.

Don’t think there is anything you can do? Well we are about to burst your balloon!

What if we told you that there was a simple solution to help aid global poverty and Internet access? It involves this balloon animal and you! (Put Emphasis on YOU)

Project Loon is launching their adapted weather balloons equipped with technology to transmit high-speed Internet signals. By launching a series of these balloons into the earth’s stratosphere and partnering with telecommunication partners, Project Loon is able to create a network of Internet accessibility for communities in developing countries.

Join us on January 6th, World Technology Day, in Central Park where our representatives will be handing out supplies so you can make your own balloon animal, and join the Spread the Signal Campaign. We have expert balloon artists on standby, waiting to help you create something extraordinary in order to create enormous change. By sharing your creations using the hash tag #SpreadTheSignal and donating to Project Loon you can increase global Internet access and end global poverty.

Not near Central Park on the 6th? Spread your own signals by signing up on our website to get your own balloon in the mail. Then share your balloon animal creations and encourage others to donate on social media with our hash tag #SpreadTheSignal.
