Project Overview
NOTE: THIS IS A SMALLER WAVE! We've already had 2 other waves, and just wanna be able to get the last 2 VA roles + Artist
WELCOME TO SPLATA-DUBS! A fan-made voice-acting group made for the Nintendo game, Splatoon. We plan to do mostly dub over Fan comics(With credit, of course!), along with some shitposts and memes, and maybe some in-game content aswell for the twitter account, @SPLATA_DUBS
I encourage anyone to audition!! beginner VAs are encouraged and welcome here :) Just Please follow a couple of simple requirements!:
1)- Please be over the age of 13! This is the minimum age requirement for the platforms we're going to use in both communication and posting.
2)- Have a decent mic! I need to be able to hear you clearly, and also nicely, so please don't just use your phone mic! (Useless your phone's microphone has a high-quality mic in it.) Please also be at a decent volume aswell, so I can hear you, without having to turn up my volume SUUPER high, or hear your mic peaking and hurting my ears.
3)-Own BOTH a discord and Twitter account! Discord will be needed for communication with dubs, and be the MAIN communication if your audition is accepted! I will message you privately once on casting call with the server link if you got the role, and that'll be it. A twitter handle is also required, due to the fact I'll need to tag you in any dubs you end up doing!
4)-LASTLY, have a BASIC understanding of the Splatoon Story/Play the game! There will be spoilers to the story modes of ALL of the three games that are in the franchise, so having at least an idea of what's going on in the story is required, so things make sense on your end! Here's some videos I do recommend that'll help you understand things. This should take less than 40 minutes!:

The character who provides gear-related services in both Splatoon 2 and 3! He's a bit laid back, and seems to refers his customers by the nickname, "Chum"..
For him, a Medium to Low pitch voice would work well.

Originally known as "Cap'n Cuttlefish", He is the former leader of the Squidbeak Splatoon, and New Squidbeak Splatoon. he's alot like your typical war veteran. He is fond of rapping, however!
For his voice, he sound old. like an Old man. There really isn't much to describe here, but a lower pitch voice would work for him/

Have any experience with digtial art/animation? Then this role's for you! We're also looking for artists juust in case we have any skit/dubbing ideas that need the art. You will be credited correctly on each post, of course!
