Spiribit Creative Team Casting
Project Overview
Introduction
In a state of Limbo, 10 souls are gathered for judgement in a plane unknown to them. However, each soul only retained vague memories of who they once were. Not only that, but they’ve also been given bodies that feel both foreign yet right. A personification that might clue them in to who they may be.
Each of these souls has been granted a chance at instant redemption, albeit with a catch. They must win a tournament against each other, the winner getting guaranteed forgiveness while the others' fates are unknown.
The big question that lingers in all of these souls’ minds are these tournaments. Specifically… video game tournaments? Follow the journey of these 10 souls in Limbo as they fight for redemption, while also trying to solve the mystery of who they are, and why they even are here in the first place.
This project takes inspiration from The Amazing Digital Circus and Death Parade.
Specifics
This project is an episodic youtube series planned to be recorded over discord as a long term project. It shall consist of a mix of scripted scenes and improvised scenes with characters giving their commentary over the tournament. However, you do not need to own the video games during these sections. The fates of these characters will ultimately be randomised based on the outcomes of these tournaments, leading to the improvisational nature of these sections. In case of any overbearing errors, or a loss of recording, I will have a separate recording for both video and audio, so that section may be redubbed. ??? is currently kept vague for the nature of not revealing too much about them. Characters will be refined in collaboration with the cast to reflect their personality and help them feel more comfortable in the role. You are still expected to stay fully in character but this should hopefully help you with this process. I, the organiser of this project, shall try my utmost best to support you during this process.
Audition Requirements
As stated, this project will be recorded fully though Discord, as such, a Discord account is required This project also has an age requirement of 16+ . I do have a general preference towards casting people who are adults however.
For Voice actors, currently no character has any assigned gender so please try out any and all that speak to you. The names listed are placeholder names and not final. Please provide 2 to 3 takes in either AABBCC or ABCABC format. Ensure to state your age and add your discord account, otherwise casting will not be possible. Lastly, and most importantly, just have fun :3
Final Statements
If this project is for you, then please feel free to submit an audition. I shall be grateful for any and all auditions. A unknown person revealed at the end of the prologue. They have a black suit with seemingly white glowing soul underneath it and a big top hat that Pixel likes to call The Magic Hat. It is safe to say they have a magicians vibe. They speak calm but they can't hide the subtle playful swings in their voice. You can expect them to be a bit more flamboyish when its showtime.
I would imagine their pitch to be any pitch that isn't too low down but feel free to play around, for me the tone and the subtle swinginess is what I'm most looking for. Like the other roles for this project, anyone can audition regardless of gender provided they can achieve what I am looking for. Have fun and good luck!

I am not fully sure if I personally understand or agree with the reasoning behind doing something so flamboyant as this but, I suppose it was entertaining. (Giving your opinion on the game that has just commenced, you are confused but intruiged)

A role I was going to partake in myself and if I do not recieve any auditions will still attempt to myself but it would help take a lot off of my plate if I could find someone else. I shall try to go through the script and project through every step of the way to work through this with you so there shouldn't be a point where you are unsure what to do.
This project has various sprites for characters, static background art and a textbox for captioning. In a sense the aim for it is to be editied as a VN. There will be times however during the game tournament sections where you will need to edit over gameplay footage albiet I will help guide through what that would need to look like.
I'm looking for someone who has generally good editing skills and software/hardware but is also simply lovely to work with so we can create this project together. So if you believe you are interested please apply and thank you :3

I still want to do the bulk of this as I am particular as to what takes I want used and how some things should sound but any assistance in this area would be appreciated. As I am a mainly audacity user, using audacity yourself would be prefered. Being able to get in call and communicate ideas would also be prefered. Thank you :3

We currently have two artist that are hard at work but there are art in other areas that I wouldn't want to put on their backs as well or mine. If you have any talent in the following areas please feel free to add your portfolio here :3 thank you.
background art - i am still down for doing this but I am not an artist so getting an actual one would just make this a lot better.
Thumbnail Artist - some art for the thumbnails would be nice. Doesn't need to be anything too big just I do need something for them. The prologue will have 2 episodes so will be in need of 2 different pieces.
UI/graphic designer - for the Visual Novel elements like the text boxes.
any extra artists to potentially take the load off of Vale and Joe with any extra art requirements.
