Project Overview

Cassidy, a normal college girls life is flipped upside down when her Brother dies in a car accident. Her mother dies of an illness soon after. Her father could care less about her, and only pays for her college tuition so that his reputation stays up. One day, she gets a package that has no return address or name other than her own. She believes it is from her dad and doesn't open it out of spite. Meanwhile, a dying Paradox, the cities magical vigilante, has his eyes on her. 

Follow Cassidy's journey to becoming Spectrum, the towns second vigilante/superhero.


Hi! Welcome to the casting call for Spectrum. We are currently in need of almost everything. Voice Actors, Body Actors, Special effects, Builders, Camera Crew, Music, and many more.


The plan for filming is:

All Voice overs will be recorded on your own time. Cassidy is really the only person that has a lot of voice overs.

I would love to have LIVE recording sessions, with you personally in the game acting out while talking. It makes things 10x easier to work with. It also gives actors a chance to improv a little and react to what others are saying.

There will be a script, but only voice overs will have to be word for word! 

We will be taking multiple takes of scenes so I can choose the best ones and if something goes wrong we can fix it.

If you cannot make it, I will send you the footage afterwards and you can try your best to react. A body actor will take your place for the time being though.

The first couple of episodes will be recorded and edited, then made into a trailer. After that, we will have 1 episode per week if we can keep up.


Requirements:
Minecraft Java 1.15.2

Discord

A good Microphone with minimal background noise. (I don't expect some professional $300 microphone, but something more than a chromebook microphone)

OBS (Only required for Cassidy)

Availability (I really need people to do LIVE ACTING)

14+ (I need mature voices, feel free to audition if you feel you have a mature voice but are under 14)

Be able to handle mods/texture packs. I'm not sure if we will be using these yet, but it is an option.

  • Casting Leads

    There have been many of you auditioning for Leads, which is great but some of the other roles have yet to be filled! I have decided to close off and cast leads on the 21st, but still leave the rest of the roles open. If you were cast, you will be sent a dm with the invite to the discord. If you were not cast, just wait until the 25th where I will cast the roles roles (who knows, you may have gotten a different role than you auditioned for) but those roles will be announced on the 25th as scheduled. After than, any remaining actors will be able to join the discord and become a body actor. Thanks for auditioning!! Everyone's auditions are great, it will be very hard to choose!!

  • Casting

    I am casting roles that are behind the scenes now, but all VA roles will be cast closer to the due day (April 25) so that I can ensure I am getting everyone that wants to audition. ALSO, for those of you who audition for a role and don't get it, if there are any unfilled roles you may be asked to do them! Same with Body actors, everyone who auditions is automatically asked to be a body actor even if they are not voicing. You can decline (obv) but it would be super helpful!
