Eric Theodore Cartman, usually referred to as just Cartman, is one of the main characters, along with Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, and Kenny McCormick. Cartman is sometimes the main antagonist of an episode, for example "Trapper Keeper". None of the other three main children really consider Cartman their friend and do not know why they started hanging out with him in the first place, but a certain form of unstable friendship ends up being born between them. However he is usually Kyle's first choice when he breaks his friendship with Stan. In earlier episodes, Kenny was his best friend, however, in later seasons, Butters Stotch is usually depicted as such. Cartman was the first one of the boys to be shown without his hat, as seen in "Merry Christmas Charlie Manson!". He also weighs 90 pounds, as revealed in "Weight Gain 4000".

Kenneth "Kenny" McCormick,[6][7] voiced by Matt Stone, is one of South Park's main characters, along with Eric Cartman, Stan Marsh, and Kyle Broflovski. He first appears in the short films both entitled The Spirit of Christmas in 1992 and 1995. He is voiced by Mike Judge in the feature film South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut and Eric Stough in "The Jeffersons", "Lice Capades", "Mysterion Rises", and "Turd Burglars".
Kenny is most famous for dying in almost every episode in the first five seasons of South Park. He is also easily recognizable for almost always wearing an orange parka, or just having his face hidden, that covers most of his face and muffles his speech. In "Mysterion Rises" Kenny, who is revealed to be the superhero Mysterion, reveals that he has the power of immortality, in a sense, and that he just wakes up in his bed after having died. He is then upset that his friends never remember him dying, and even kills himself in front of everyone to prove himself.
The character was killed off the show in the Season Five episode, "Kenny Dies", but returned in the following season, at the end of "Red Sleigh Down" and has since been a regular character; however, he now only dies occasionally. In most of the episodes in the tenth and eleventh seasons, he tends to recede into the background, though this tendency seems to have ended with the Season Eleven finale. Throughout the tenth, twelfth, eighteenth, nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-third seasons, Kenny did not die once. Kenny died three times in total in Season Thirteen, five times in Season Fourteen, and once in seasons fifteen, sixteen, twenty-one and twenty-two.

Wendy Testaburger is a major-supporting character and the most prominent female character on South Park. She is the most prominent of the female classmates of Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny, as well as Stan's on-and-off girlfriend. Wendy is a female fourth-grade student at South Park Elementary. She made her first appearance and speaking role in the Season One episode "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe". Wendy has been voiced by four people during the series' run: Mary Kay Bergman, Mona Marshall, Eliza J. Schneider and currently April Stewart.

Herbert Garrison (previously Janet Garrison; after a sex-change operation that was later reversed), is a 4th grade teacher at South Park Elementary. He first appears in the Season One episode, "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe", and is voiced by Trey Parker. Mr. Garrison was a man throughout the first nine seasons of South Park until "Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina", where he received gender confirmation surgery and became a woman. This was undone in "Eek, A Penis!", where he got a reverse sex change operation and became male once again. He ran for President in Season Nineteen, eventually gaining the Republican nomination. He became elected as President of the United States in the Season Twenty episode "Oh, Jeez" and appears as the 45th President of the United States from Seasons Twenty-One to Twenty-Three. However, in the Season Twenty-Four episode "South ParQ Vaccination Special", he returned to South Park to continue his work as a 4th grade teacher.
(Note: If casted you will also be voicing Mr. Hat)

And, so, children, that's how you tell a prostitute from a police officer.
I do not have sex with boys. I like men my own age. Ah! I mean I like women. Ah! What did I just say? I like titties!
What the hell is going on here? Why won't anyone pound Mr. Slave's tight butt?
Officer Barbrady is South Park's former main police officer, with relatively poor vocabulary. He is extremely incompetent at his job, usually being incapable of solving the crimes he is legally obliged to investigate. Despite this, he does manage to maintain the balance of peace in South Park as shown in "Chickenlover" when, shortly after he retired, the city fell into chaos. In "Naughty Ninjas", he was fired from his job as a police officer for shooting an unarmed 6-year-old Latino boy. Following that, he was temporarily reinstated to combat ISIS in "SoDoSoPa". However, he was fired yet again for shooting children playing ninjas. He was reinstated from his police officer job in the time between "PC Principal Final Justice" and "Splatty Tomato", likely due to him tracking down Leslie Meyers. While Barbrady is, like almost all adults in South Park, extremely stupid in general and largely incompetent at his job, he is one of the few characters who is never shown as financially corrupt or sexually deviant. He maintains a monogamous relationship with a consenting adult partner throughout the series, one of the few fully developed characters to do so.

Okay move along, move along people, there's nothing to see here!
Well, Jimmy, the girls here are young and pure. They're not like the ladies down at Colfax Point.
Yes, at first, I was happy to be learning how to read. It seemed exciting and magical. But then I read this: Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand. I read every last word of this garbage, and because of this piece of sh-shit, I'm never reading again!
Ms. Veronica Crabtree was South Park Elementary's main bus driver. She was voiced by Mary Kay Bergman during the first three seasons and by Eliza J. Schneider until Crabtree's death in Season Eight. While she has never performed the voice in the series, April Stewart has stated on Twitter that she performed the voice in her audition before Season Eight and is still capable of doing so.

Jerome McElroy, more commonly referred to as Chef, was a recurring character on South Park. He was most famous for being the South Park Elementary cafeteria chef and the boys' go-to guy for advice, which would often result into him breaking into songs about sex. He made his debut in the Season One episode "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe" and was voiced by the late Isaac Hayes. Chef was killed off in the Season Ten debut episode, "The Return of Chef", following controversy with Isaac Hayes, who left the series after the episode, "Trapped in the Closet" aired, due to its portrayal of Scientology.

(singing): Hey, everybody, have you seen my balls? They're big and salty and brown. If you ever need a quick pick-me-up, just stick my balls in your mouth. Ooooo, suck on my chocolate salty balls, put 'em in your mouth. Put 'em in your mouth and suck 'em and suck 'em...
I'm very proud of you, children. Let's all go home and find a nice white woman to make love to.
This is all I'm going to say about drugs: Stay away from them! There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.
Sir Ike Moisha Broflovski, born as Peter Gintz, is Kyle Broflovski's adopted Canadian younger brother. He made his first appearance in the Season One episode, "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe". His voice has been provided by many kids, usually relatives of show personnel[18] due to their young-sounding voice, as described during the commentary of "Trapper Keeper". He has also been mistaken for both a trash can and a table post, as well as compared to a football. Unlike other Canadians, Ike does not have a Canadian accent or a box-shaped body and has a nose, though “Terrance and Phillip: Behind the Blow” shows that is how all Canadian babies look, as Terrance and Phillip in the episode are shown in the documentary as kids resembling Ike when they were children. However, when he grows up to his adult stage, he gains these features and loses his nose.

Jason White is a student at South Park Elementary known for his love of sports. Though he has rarely spoken, he was a part of the boys' extended circle of friends, often seen with the members of Craig's Gang. He was first seen briefly at lunch in "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe", but he wasn't fully introduced until "Professor Chaos". His family was introduced in "Splatty Tomato", including his outspoken father Bob White, his mother Mrs. White and sister Crystal. He is voiced by Trey Parker. Though he was ran over by a police car in the Season Twenty-Three episode "Season Finale" and killed off, but has appeared in the background of multiple subsequent episodes on the playground, attending school assemblies and in the lunch room.
