Sonic X Funimation Style Dub
Project Overview
Sonic X's dub was pretty good at the time, but it still rose some eyebrows when the original Japanese sub and the American dub is set side-by-side. So, my team has decided to make a "Funimation Style" dub of the series. That means we will be using the original Japanese music, and most of the original lines of the sub. Hopefully, many people will enjoy this dub. Remember that this is a non-profit dub, and all music and characters belong to their respective owners.

Tails is Sonic's best friend and "Partner", not sidekick. The kind of voice I'm looking for is the video game version of the character. I'm leaning towards the Sonic Heroes version of Tails, but the Sonic Adventures 2 version could work as well. Don't be afraid to put your own spin on it too.
"Go, Sonic, go! This is no time for relaxation!"
"Heads I win, tails you lose!"
"X-Tornado. Let's go!"
Knuckles is one of Sonic's good friends and rivals. He can be gullible, but he's also a huge heavy-hitter. The voice I'm looking for is something that is close to his voice in Sonic Riders. If you like, you can also put your own spin to it as well, just have it something close to Sonic Riders Knuckles.
"Sonic isn't my buddy! I'm sick and tired of Sonic turning everything into a game! Either Sonic gives us that emerald or I'm going to take it from him!"
"You'd think with a fist like this you could actually do some damage!"
"Knock Knock it's Knuckles!"
Amy Rose is one of the leading ladies of the series. She's one of Sonic's "stalkers" who has feelings for him, and she's not afraid to admit it. This is one of the characters that will have a different voice in general. The voice I'm looking for is a voice close to Nami from One Piece, as a suggestion.
"Lovely... I'd just wish Sonic were here to enjoy this with me."
"We don't have time for this Tails! Step aside, I'll fix this robot!"
"Soooooooniiiiiiiiiic!"
A quiet and polite rabbit and her pet Chao. She is the daughter of Vanilla the Rabbit, and one of the sweetest characters in the series. Her voice should of course sound a bit quiet, a lot like Fluttershy from My Little Pony. Other than that, try your hand at both Cream and Cheese.
"I'll betcha you're the ones who took Chocola-Chao!"
"Oh, Shadow, thank you! But Cheese wandered off into that castle, Shadow, you have to find him… please!"
*Chao noises*
Another leading lady of the series. Rouge is a thief who also later works for the government. She can also be a bit sensual in her comments and comebacks. Her voice should be close to Nico Robin from One piece. You can either go with the 4kids version or the Funimation version.
"Sorry to smooch and run, but I've gotta touch up my lipstick."
"How do you plan to get in there? It's not like you can go up and knock on the door."
"Of course not. I don't give a hoot what happened to that hedgehog."
Ugh, Chris Thorndyke, the only thing about the series that annoyed me. Hopefully we can fix her up in this redub. He is the human character that first discovers Sonic and his friends. He is also the one character that is annoying to me, There is no base that is given. Try your hand at what you think he should sound like.
"Besides, I could've had grandpa, or Ella, or Mister Tanaka to help me if I needed to. Don't worry dad, they're taking good care of me."
"Sonic, watch out!"

The main antagonist of the series. He is the one that's always after the Chaos emeralds, in order to take over the world. His voice is fine as it is, so I'd like something close to the modern versions of the games, mostly around the Sonic Heroes and Sonic Lost World games.
"Muhuhahaha... you fools must all have a death wish? Witness this invincible battleship, built by the hands of a genius! Its power... UNMATCHED throughout the universe!"
"You know what they say, the more, the merrier!"
"I will not allow you to defile my grandfather's legacy! Now, you will get to see the destructive power of my strongest creation yet!"
The fastest racer in the human world. He was tasked to catch Sonic in episode 1, buuuut ultimately failed. You can do anything you wish with this voice.

These characters are minor, but are important nonetheless. Any voice range can work, so don't be afraid to try your hand at them.
