Project Overview

Hello and welcome to the Sonic Rush Fandub casting call! 
Project Information:

My goal for this project is to dub the story mode scenes of Sonic Rush in movie format! The finished project will be uploaded to YouTube in late August or early September just in time for the game's anniversary! The deadline for casting is the 5th of August but may be extended. Currently I'm the head of the project (voicing Blaze the Cat). 

This casting call is for the last three characters featured in the story: Amy Rose, Cream and Vanilla. Roles for Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Dr. Eggman have already been filled. 

For Voice Actors:  
  1. --> Sound quality is very important, please check for static or noise. We want your awesome voice to shine through the recording! 
  2. -->  Please feel free to be yourself and/or get into character! 
  3. --> Don't worry about impersonating, this is all for fun!
  4. --> Upvotes are a form of support for your fellow VAs, but don’t worry too much about them. They don’t influence casting.
  5. --> If you are cast, please be committed to doing your best and working with others!

What is the game? Why this game? 
Sonic Rush holds a special place in my heart being the first fan project I attempted while discovering the world of fan-dubs and online voice acting! 10 years ago in fact in 2007, when the game released. Now that I have more know-how in the editing process, I want to revisit it!

Synopsis: Sonic Rush tells the story of Blaze, a new character from another dimension who is transported to Sonic's world by the power of the newly introduced Sol Emeralds. After a series of strange events, Sonic and his friends must join together to stop their worlds from colliding.

  • Casting Taking Place August 6th!

    Hello everyone! I would like to give a big thanks to you all for considering this fan dub and sending in auditions. I would also like to congratulate those who are joining the cast. Cream is very polite, well-mannered and pure, though she can be childish and naïve. She is full of curiosity and tries her best in everything she does. Though young, she is not afraid to stand up for herself and will always be there to help out her friends. Just as Tails is the sidekick of Sonic, Cream serves the same purpose for Amy Rose and Blaze the Cat.

 Amy is a cheerful, though slightly erratic girl, with a positive attitude and boundless energy. However, she has a scary temper and her infatuation with Sonic makes her shortsighted and a bit obsessive about him, having followed him everywhere since meeting him. Nevertheless, she has a pure heart and will not let anything stop her.
