Sonic Of The Dead - PART I
Project Overview
Sonic Of The Dead Part 1 is a remake and reimagining of my original sprite animation series, that I released on Youtube (DoujinPixation) all the way back in 2012. With this project I am bringing the first instalment back with a faster pacing, updated writing, and overall improved sprite work while staying true to its comedic roots. The story follows Sonic, Knuckles, and Shadow as a sudden zombie outbreak overruns Central City, forcing them to flee their apartment and fight through the streets, looking for shelter. This project serves as the first episode for a planned series. I am currently looking for 2 or 3 voice actors to portray Sonic, Knuckles, and Shadow.
This is an unpaid fan project created for fun and collaboration; however, the finished video may be monetized on Youtube. While no financial compensation is offered in this first instalment, all contributors will be fully credited.
Please submit auditions on time, record in a quiet environment with clean audio (no background noise or heavy effects), and be open to minor direction or retakes if needed.

SONIC OF THE DEAD REMAKE DROPPING TOMORROW
For everyone who has been following this project, it is finally coming out tomorrow 19th March 9 pm CET.
The video will go live on the DoujinPixation youtube channel, with a trailer dropping 24h before as a community post.
And in case you‘re wondering, yes a sequel is under consideration !

Sonic is confident, fast-talking, sarcastic, a bit obsessive, and easily annoyed, especially by Knuckles. He jokes through danger but panics when caught off-guard, and despite his attitude he steps up as the reluctant hero. Voice should be youthful, energetic but not hyper, with a natural American accent. Requires comedic timing, snarky delivery, and the ability to shift quickly between humor, panic, and action.

Knuckles is tough, loyal, and well-meaning, but undeniably dense. He’s excitable, easily distracted, and obsessed with zombie movies, which he uses as “survival knowledge” despite being totally wrong. Voice should be medium to low, goofy but not too cartoonishly, with a warm, slightly clueless American tone. Strong comedic timing and over-the-top reactions.

Shadow is cold, intense, and serious, acting in the series as a trained agent. He speaks with authority, rarely jokes, and delivers lines with a bit of edge. Voice should be low to mid-low and mature, with minimal exaggeration. Voice performance should convey some amount of anger, confidence, and menace rather than shouting. Natural American English accent preferred.
