Project Overview
Sonic Of The Dead Part II is the sequel to my remake and reimagining of the original sprite animation series that I first released on YouTube back in 2012. Continuing directly after the events of Part I, the story follows Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, and Tails as they try to survive inside a shopping mall while the zombie outbreak continues to spread. As new survivors join the group and the mall’s defenses begin to fail, they slowly uncover the bizarre truth behind the apocalypse.
This remake features updated writing, faster pacing, improved sprite animation, and full voice acting while staying true to the original’s cheesy humor and zombie movie parody.
For this installment, I am looking for voice actors for Tails, Amy Rose, Mighty the Armadillo in major roles, and Vector the Crocodile in a minor role.
This is an unpaid fan project created for fun and collaboration. The finished video may be monetized on YouTube, but all contributors will receive full credit in the video and description.
Please submit your audition on time, record in a quiet environment with clean audio, and be open to minor direction or retakes if needed. Good luck!
Voice Actor
Young male (teen/young adult). Intelligent, energetic, slightly anxious under stress, but capable of sounding determined.
Tails is the group’s mechanic and problem solver. He’s intelligent and resourceful. While he’s confident in his technical abilities, he’s still easily startled and can panic under pressure. This version of Tails has a slightly nerdy sense of humor and often ends up playing the “straight man“.

Voice Actor
Young adult female. Confident and energetic with a hint of sass. This version of Amy is sweet but sarcastic, and not afraid to call Sonic out whenever she gets the chance. She can switch from playful to fierce quickly and holds her own in a fight.

Voice Actor
Young adult male. Relaxed, laid-back, and friendly with a slight streetwise vibe. He speaks often in slang. Mighty is easygoing, rarely loses his cool. Despite his chill attitude, he’s brave when it counts and genuinely cares about his friends.

Voice Actor
Rather deep voice with a slightly rough edge, similar in spirit to his game counterpart. Vector only appears as a voice over a damaged radio transmission, so there is no on-screen appearance or direct interaction with the cast. If possible, lines should be recorded with a radio distortion, static, stuttering, and partial cut-offs.
