Sonic.ICA / A Sonic.exe inspired story
Project Overview
WHAT IS THIS?
Sonic.ICA is a Sonic.exe inspired project. This is a different take on the story we already know, trying to create a fresh experience with a multimedia way of showing the story (IRL videos, fandubs, analog horror, etc.) while staying close to what makes Sonic.exe special.
Although it is a multimedia series, our main focus is on creating short comics to tell our story. Our objective is to create the illusion of all of this being just fan comics showing fun stories with the Sonic characters as it slowly starts to drift to the real story that is being told in between the lines. Expect gore, sensitive topics and unsettling imagery from this project, so if you get triggered by those topics or don't wanna get involved with any of that- you're being warned.
REQUIREMENTS
I do not expect you to be the best at voice acting, as our standards and requirements are pretty low. I just need the basics; no background noises, clean audio and good quality. That's the minimun we expect, but give it your best, alright?
You'll have to join our Discord server as it will be used for organizing stuff and rehearsing (and to hang out with the team. What, do you expect us to create a project and have no fun with it? teambonding is important.).
We'll be making constant reviews on your auditions, so if you manage to make a good impression for the character- you may be able to secure the role before the deadline. Lastly... Have fun with it and remember that you're Insanely Creative and Amazing!

Tails is a kind, loyal and curious fox. He can be scared at times, but is very brave when it comes to helping his friends. In this take, Tails is a lot more suspicious of the ones around him, showing paranoia when something goes wrong

(nervous) "I-I know... But the radar can't be malfunctioning."
(confident) "Maybe not exactly here, but I'm sure it is close... We can find it."
(panicked) "He-here's the plan: I'll shoot it with my arm cannon to get its attention while you climb up to get the emerald, got it?!"
A loner by nature, Knuckles is independent, headstrong, and serious, yet gullible and short-tempered to a fault. He is entirely devoted to his duty, spending most of his time on Angel Island protecting the Master Emerald, however, he can always be relied on. In this take, Knux is a lot more prominent to get enraged, getting annoyed whenever someone starts speaking nonsense.

(tired sigh) "As I told you before... This stage is clean. There is nothing for us here."
(rushed) "I'll climb up, but I can't promise reaching it!"
Amy is a cheerful, though slightly erratic girl, with a positive attitude and nature and boundless energy. However, she has a fiery temper, but has a pure heart above all. In this take, Amy stays mostly the same but shows herself more fearful, cautious and her obsession with Sonic is practically non-existent.

(annoyed) "I'm not falling behind because I'm scared! It's just that-... my hammer is slowing me down!"
(murmuring) "My adventurous spirit is currently being suppressed by my fight-or-flight response..."
Sonic is easygoing and honest, but also impatient and short-tempered. He possesses a strong sense of independence and justice, despises oppression, and is loyal to his friends. In this take, Sonic stays mostly the same but has a more naive but cautious personality, always back to back with his buddy Mighty. I also want to let you know that I need the voice to sound a little bit off. It has to sound like Sonic but don't quite sound like him, so do your own take on the character if you can.

(exhausted) "... I've been running around all day trying to find... That. I'll give you a call when I get it."
(excited and a bit playful) "Alright! I'm ready as ready as I can be. Will you be able to keep up with me once we get there?"
Mgithy is a friendly and peaceful fellow with a passion for traveling. Though he dislikes violence and roughness, Mighty is more than capable of such when trouble arises. He is a loyal and trustworthy companion, but can get very irritable under pressure. In this take, he stays mostly the same, and is the voice of reason when around his pal Sonic. The same as Sonic- I need the voice to sound a little bit off. It has to sound like Mighty but don't quite sound like him, so do your own take on the character if you can.

(chuckling softly, slightly amused) "Yeah, you do. I already did my own research and... Kinda figured it out on my own."
(serious) "Hey, (pause, just a few seconds) did you get the information I asked for? I left a note."
(casual, relaxed but firm) "I'll need you to come here as fast as you can. I tried some things out and managed to reduce our research to only 5 CDs."
Honey is a fashion designer who is all about promoting her brand of clothes and accessories. She is upbeat, friendly and sweet, though sassy and devious. She still has a noble heart and is confident enough to get around it. In this take, Honey stays mostly the same, but she gets rapidly shocked and anxious whenever something goes wrong or finds herself in danger.

(still excited but slightly scared) "Woah... This place is so big! and dark... too dark... I think I get why you're scared and hiding behind me."
(a bit breathless) "Come on... Where is your adventurous spirit?"
Eggman is a brilliant scientist with an IQ of 300, driven by a desire of conquering the world is extremely narcissistic and egotistical, noted for being very selfish, sometimes rude, and greedy. His main motivation is gaining constant attention,and views himself as the best scientist in the world. In this take, Eggman is way more collaborative, using his machinery to keep the others safe. He has some regrets and guilts with everything that has happened.

(thoughtful and slightly sarcastic) "If my calculations are correct... It is right in front of you, just look up."
(annoyed) "Do I have to remind you what will happen if I send Metal Sonic there?!"
While usually serving as Eggman's obedient and silent enforcer, Metal Sonic is an intelligent robot with a very dark side. Cold-hearted and ruthless, he is obsessed with proving his superiority to Sonic and eliminating him for good to the point where he has rebelled against Eggman more than once to achieve his goal. In this take, Metal behaves in a more human way and doesn't have any interest on surpassing Sonic, being more of a bodyguard for everyone else.

The main antagonist of this story. I cannot give too many details about her other than her voice description. Go for a mature, stern, omnipotent and motherly tone, but make sure to sound deceiving in a way, like exaggerating just a little bit that sweetness and adding some sarcasm.
This isn't required, but it would be very nice and a great help if you could speak Spanish, but it isn't required and I won't make you act the phrases if you can't.
