Project Overview

Introduction

Hello there. This is a Sonic the Hedgehog rewrite AU where i have changed the story in many ways. Now this series of comics already has two videos on it, the second attached onto this project. I need voices for some of the characters who appear quite a few times but aren't pert of the main set of characters. Most characters here have voices you can follow but some need original takes on them.

Basic version of the Story

One day a white hedgehog appears in the city and tried to attack Shadow the hedgehog. The day after many of Sonics friends are wondering who this hedgehog is. Eventually one team discover he's from the future trying to save his close friend from losing her body to the evil god Mephiles. They all team up to try and save her but they were too late and have to fight Mephiles and the main antagonist who has became one with Iblis.

Warning, this will include Character death, mental health struggles, and occasionally some blood.

This will include characters falling in love in many different ways, so if your uncomfortable doing shipping, pick a child character or this isn't the project for you.

How to Audition

-Please stick to the lines that have been set

-Mic quality should be decent, if there's background crackle that's fine, just make Sure there's no noise from things falling over, family ect.

-If the character has a voice reference please listen to it to check if it's the version you are impersonating

-Best if you have discord so you are easy for me to contact.

-Feel free to message me through discord if you have any questions

-Your audition will be checked by me and possibly the channel owner of the videos

  • Shortened deadline and Discord update

    First I'm happy to see auditions come in, I've enjoyed listening to them all. I have decided to shorten the deadline by twenty days but still plenty of time for anyone still wanting to take a chance. I decided this since I keep refreshing the page and can't wait that long to make the final decision.

    I'm working on making a discord server for easy send out of comics to do. If you don't have discord and get accepted for a role I will email you the comics. I may friend you on discord if I want you to try one of the other roles either on here or one that'll appear later on.

Mighty is the right hand and best friend to Sonic in this story, he's caring thoughtful and enjoys teasing his teammates when he can. Mighty has a moderate pitch voice and will need an original take on the character. Mighty, being Sonic's best friend plays the biggest role out of the roles in this cast call.

Ray is the flight type of team sonic and will be around the main 4 often. He's a young kind boy who tries to see the good in everything. This voice is just need to be as close to a lower voiced little boy could be.

Cream is a young girl who's devoted to her schoolwork and helping sonic through team rose. Cream is a light hearted high voiced little girl. She is a nice side character who will come up with her mother.

Vector is a strong, kind and confident Croc who likes to work towards helping others and trying to pay rent. This version of Vector's voice is similar to his original voice with an American accent, he'll be there for Espio, who's one of the main cast, as a good friend and listener.

Charmy is a over excited kid who just likes to have fun. Charmy is a high voiced little boy who can be voiced by a female. Charmy will be part of a conflict which effects one of the protags a lot.

Omega is a side antihero who works with shadow and rouge in a few situations. He mainly focuses on violence and destroying Metal Sonic, but also has a side where he can listen to his team and try his best to give advice. He isn't a major character in this story but will appear often enough in important moments. His voice is a moderately high male tone with robotic effects

If you can add your own robotic effects that would be great.

Gamma is a kind hearted robot who takes the role of power type in team rose. He stays with Cream and Vanilla and enjoys helping where he can. Gamma will appear in some team rose side comics plus speak his views in group discussions often. He has a monotone deep voice.
