Shirayukihime to 7-nin no Shuujin, or Snow White and the Seven Prisoners, is a dystopian shounen manga. The story revolves around Takeru, a young 16 year old boy, who has suddenly acquired a right hand that erupts into lava. He eventually joins up with various companions, including the young Shirayuki, a mute girl who seems to hold the secrets to this new world order in her tiny hands.
"Our protagonist, Shakudou Takeru wakes up in a pile of debris. Before him, is a Tokyo completely unknown to him, ruled by people clothed in military uniforms..."
The manga never got an anime, and doesn't even have a completed English translation online as far as I found. So, I'd like to dub the first chapter, either with the manga panels, or as a podcast. if this first episode works well, then I will expand the casting call to the rest of the series.
Please be 16+, and aware that the themes of the manga involve: violence, unethical experiments, mild female nudity, graphic depictions of blood.

Voice Actor
A middle aged man in a young boy’s body. He should sound like a child (about 10 years old), but is brotherly and caring. Older brother to Souji.
You will also be acting as a younger Souji.
Don’t move a muscle, stray (quietly threatening)
I am Souichi. That is my brother Souji. It seems that the two of you have to become our companions. (confident)
Souchi… Have I become a monster? Do I… have to… kill people as well? (crying)

A young boy in a middle aged man’s body. Younger brother to Souichi. An adult male voice but with child-like intonations.
You will also be voicing the older Souichi.
I’m not scared… It won’t… hurt… It doesn’t… hurt… at… all! (Souji has to cut himself to trigger his powers… It definitely does hurt. This is a child in an adult’s body)
Souji! You can’t use that ability. No, you can never use it! We promised! You can never, ever use that ability! (angry, scolding)

Standard, American accent. 20s to 30s, man. His voice should be deep and sound a lot older than his actual self.
Ahahaha you used to yell at me a lot. That’s right. I’m the black sheep of an esteemed military. So, I wanted power. (fond, friendly, also nostalgic)
Betrayal? I’m doing my duty as a soldier. The duty of the stress test you have given to me… I will show you my full abilities, so watch! (repressed anger)
Takeru… why did you come back? My body… won’t last long… not any more… (Imagine Darth Vader speaking with his mask off at the end of Return of the Jedi)

The protagonist of the story. A 16 year old boy who has lost his memory of the last two years, only remembering that he needs to find his older brother, and that suddenly this is not a Japan he recognises. His hand also seems to be embued with some terrible power. In search for answers, and to restore happiness to Japan, he embarks on a journey to overthrow the tyrannical government.
Hopeful and idealistic, Takeru is a natural-born leader. He is charismatic and optimistic throughout the series, a bit like Luffy from One Piece. He also gets angry very easily at sights of people suffering, or at injustice being dealt. Might also be a bit of a battle fanatic, and is definitely more of the act before thinking type.
Context:
1st line: Getting angry and fighting the government officials over injustices.
2nd line: In the same fight, when asked by Makoto how come he was so good at fighting
3rd line: His powers first ignite, in the form of his hand basically catching on fire and turning into lava. This is a power that hurts Takeru to some degree as well.
Suddenly slicing at people like that... What kind of public service is this!!
My brother did karate, you see. He beat me up real good every day so it came naturally hahahaha

Young male, important companion in the first part of the series. Honest and friendly, Makoto is nonetheless tired and weary from the reality he is living in. A regular guy just trying to survive in this world, shying away from danger, turning a blind eye to cruelty... until he meets Takeru and gets swept into a wild adventure filled with hope.
Context:
1st line: Tired after a long day of labour, uncertain if his hard work will ever bring to anything
2nd line: After Takeru unknowingly beats up some (evil) government officials, Makoto hopes to defuse the situation, and hope that Takeru will be forgiven.
3rd line: Makoto is also a bit of a comedic relief in the beginning - at least, the one that plays of Takeru.
Can a place like this really become a field...? No matter how much I plow, it's still covered in rocks.

3rd line: Government officials, intimidated by their boss' behaviour

Context:
1st line: Scared mother, holding her unconscious child who had accidentally angered government officials
2nd line: Female labourer who had just found Takeru, in shock that this boy is speaking like the last two years had not existed
3rd line: Makoto's mother, a sickly older woman who is much like her son - friendly and welcoming, but broken by the system that governs them.
Please wait a moment, he is my child! Because I'm sickly, I haven't been able to give this child enough to eat...

For chapter 1, this character will mainly be voicing an evil government official who introduces Takeru to the strict totalitarian system at play in the new world he lives in. If subsequent chapters are made, then you would be automatically included as other side characters. This government official is a male of about 40-50 years old.
Context:
1st line: You have just seen a kid (Takeru) try to avoid going to school. You decide to exercise your authority.
2nd line: You have been punched, humiliated, and insulted by Takeru. You decide to pull out your sword and injure this boy. You should be heaving from blood loss, coughing, but filled with rage.
3rd line: This line is said by a male teen classmate - just a side character you would have to voice as well.
Where do you think you're going? Could it be you wanted to run away? Those under 18 have a duty to attend school!
That arm of yours... let me cut it in two!
Did you hear? This morning, there was this guy who went against the officers in front of the school gate!

One of the main Captains working for the government, Amagiya is a young man with an obsession over Shirayuki, the immortal child who is the secondary protagonist of the story. He sees Shirayuki as his saviour, his goddess, and vows to protect her happiness with everything he has. I see his obsession as akin to that of a devout worshipper, instead of being a lolicon as the dynamic may imply.
Other than his obsession of Shirayuki, Amagiya is antagonistic and prideful. Someone who could be charming, but is instead horribly cruel.
This character only has a few lines in the first chapter. However, as he is an important character in the story, if this series moves forward then this will become a main character.
As long as Shirayuki-sama stays here, then this Tokyo will exist for all of eternity...
You, servant. Why don't you step away from Shirayuki-sama, hm?

One of Takeru's key companions. Young male, although mistaken for a girl every now and then. Sold to the government by his mother as a child, Fujimaru is apathetic and cold on the surface. He understands the government he works with is evil, but he also doesn't see the need to confront that as he sees it as a transaction - he enjoys the privileges of being a district chief, and in turn the government had subjected him to painful experiments. Later, he becomes convinced by Takeru to try and change the status quo, but keeps his calm and unfrazzled demeanour. Has the ability to communicate with machines.
This character only has 1 line in the first chapter. However, as he is an important character in the story, if this series moves forward then this will become a main character. The audition lines come from the next few chapters of the story.
