NEW CASTING CALL JUST DROPPED!
Hey guys! This is an open casting call for a Minecraft YouTube channel called Slime Block. It's a Minecraft channel focused on comedy, roleplay, and improv stories! We are looking to do a "soft-relaunch" for the channel, taking inspiration from creators such as Aphmau, Wifies, Socksfor1, ThatMob, Jolly & Conk, and others that use Minecraft for story-telling & roleplay content.


We're looking for a VOICE + BODY ACTOR to portray one of our core characters "Cheeko". This is a CONSISTENT and PAID opportunity with room for growth! You would be working closely with the original voice actor and the team to get yourself on the right track for the role.


EXPECTATIONS

  1. Experience playing/setting up Minecraft modpacks

  2. Record your gameplay and mic with OBS

  3. Active communication on Discord

  4. Take live-direction and have witty banter/improv in character

  5. Available for 5-8 recordings per week (each session is about 1-hour long!)

Cheeko is a chill, inventive, and cool chicken. On the surface, he can come off a bit dopey but is a lot smarter than you'd expect. Sometimes he can be a bit tongue and cheek, eccentric, and scatter-brained.

Voice sounds similar to Muscle Man from Regular Show, except a bit more mellow and gruff.
