Sleepbound is an audio role play taking place in the listener -Star's- dreams as they try to fix their sleep schedule thanks to insomnia. Their dream in particular is upon the starship Astralis.

Good day everyone! So due to some unfilled roles, the deadline has been pushed back to JULY 8TH or until all roles have been filled.
To everyone that has auditioned; thank you so much for volunteering for this! I didn't expect this to really get anywhere. It's a dream to have my story voice acted and to see how many find it interesting is just even better! I will be sending updates at least once a day to let you all know the state of auditions.

Olivier Rowes is a soft spoken and calm man. He isn't on the Astralis, instead he's in the real world. He worries for the listener and their spiraling insomnia. He's like Marco from Gator Boys.
[Reporting] " —Like I was saying. After what happened to you, it’s understandable that Insomnia developed. Typically, PTSD causes sleeping problems like fear of sleeping, loss of sleep overall, and a dislike for silence. "
[Reassuringly] " Most who try it say they have a better time sleeping, both short term insomnia and –in your case– long term insomnia. This is just in case if the Doxepin doesn’t work. "
[Calmly] " Don’t thank me, I’m just doing my job. Have a nice day! "
Vanja (They/Them) is an overall average acting variant. They don't audibly express their emotions too much, if they do it's in a worrying situation. Around their crewmates, they're relatively calm and the 'grounded one' out of the group. They sound a little like Ashes O'Reilly from The Mechanisms without the English accent.
[Light Worry] " Are they okay, Killam? "
[Serious yet gentle] " Well, star, I'm Vanja, the Chief Officer on the Astralis. "
[Chuckle] " Yes, Captain Zabel, I understand. We'll come to Warforge and get you. Anything else? "
Davaa -unlike his position- is energetic. He's a proud, determined dragonic elf that will never back down from a challenge. Picture a golden retriever with some maturity, like Yargwen from Space Pirates Saga.

[Honest] "Yeah. Internal and external scans show they’re okay, just a little dizziness. Maybe a bit of vertigo. And for the next time and time after, just call me Davaa. "
A serious Orc captain that hates joking. Precious is a broody type, think of her like a gritty Batman without most of the trauma or Lovelace from Wolf 359. She doesn't show/express any emotion regardless of the situation.
" You mind telling me -with details please- why haven't you started charting back to Warforge? "
" You better or I will rip that badge off your chest, Saša*. " *said like Sasha
" Good. Tell Bustillo too that he better get ready for the report. "
Delta -commonly called DEF- is a charismatic yet pretty calm sort of guy. Picture like Howl from Howl's Moving Castle smooth. But talk about one of his interests and he will not stop. This is the only role where improvisation is encouraged because DEF is supposed to be a comedic guy even if he's missing most of his body and working in Engineering.
[Excited] " Vanja! You won't believe it, Star got the Star Trek reference! "
[Curious] " From Rafen? Why would he-- wait. that makes sense actually. "
[Improv section, talk about anything you want that you think would fit his character for 20+ SECONDS]
C1RC41T is the AI of the Astralis. It takes charge of all the financial and reminiscent duties. It is more like a program like Siri/Alexa/Google but also not since it has more emotion and a wider vocabulary than any of the latter. Picture Eric and Deborahbot 5000 from Mitchells vs the Machines in tone of dialog.
[Matter of fact-ly] "Patient Steinz has woken up and has repeatedly asked where to find you. He has started attempting to use his bionic legs– "
[Confident] " You're using rendezvous wrong. It's not a defeat, that is Waterloo. "
[Comforting] " Already? Hm. Rest well, then, Star. "
Typical trope of the alien from another world trying to fit in but with a twist. Ynez enjoys being on the Astralis. Especially the Engineering and Bridge crews, even if they get annoying every now and then. She typically is found with DEF, listening to his rants about some sci-fi series from Earth. She's like Raven from Teen Titans SPECIFICALLY 2003.
[Yell] " DEF! WHO'S THAT WITH YOU OVER THERE? "
[Chuckle] " God no, my wife is on the ship! She's the First Pilot. "
[Confused] " Hey, you okay? You look a little unfocused. "
Eadwine -like Precious- is all work no play. He isn't one to joke and kid around unless you want a long stern talking to. He acts like Alucard Tepes from Castlevania without the underlying sass.
[Stoic] " What do you two think you're doin- [pause] who's that? "
" Just... get back to work. Captain will be pissed if she finds out. "
[Irritated] " whatever. "
