Skyler Coleman first appeared in the 1996 film Slashed as a teenager attending the fictional Lakeside High School. After a series of brutal murders occur on the anniversary of her mother's death, the killer begins targeting Skyler herself with attacks and taunting phone calls. Her character has appeared in each successive film in the series, her role initially that of the victim but growing into heroine where she personally confronts each killer and defeats them.
So you thought you could sneak in my
window and we would have little bump-
bump.
Nina Wilson's first cinematic appearance was in Slashed, as the fame-seeking reporter who has written a novel on Maxine Coleman's death, explaining how she thinks Cotton Weary has been falsely identified as the murderer. When she arrives in Lakeside with her cameraman and her family, she is rude, bossy and goes to great lengths to get a good story (such as videotaping unsuspecting teens at a house party). Nina has chemistry throughout the film with Junior Teen Detective Ethan Jones, (but he don't want anything to do with her he like Skyler Coleman) as they investigate the murders. When she finds her cameraman dead near Scott's house, she enters the house and helps Skyler Coleman by shooting one of the serial killers, Timmy Smith.
