Sirmade Comic Dub

Sirmade Comic Dub

Project Overview

A short personal project about an entity and a human who are enemies, seemingly finding a sweet, lovely connection in a short conversation in the 1930s rural south at night.

The comic you'll be voicing is a short and sweet one that takes place right around the time these two start to like one another.

This is for my two characters for a comic I'm writing. I'd really like to eventually have more comic dubs of these two in the possible future.

Please have a good microphone with no background noise! You also MUST be 18+.

A 30 year old black southern woman who may or may not have a crush on an evil entity she's enemies with. Her voice/accent is very similar to that of Tiana’s from Princess and The Frog. Throughout the audio her tone will go from annoyed to sincere. (Black VA wanted for this role)

An 30 year old entity who may or may not be falling for a woman he’s trying to eat… His voice is basically peter lorre’s voice. Maybe a little deeper? But regular peter lorre is always good too. He switches between scary/creepy to awkward.

Sirms is very expressive and can be animated at times, similar to how Peter Lorre is in Radio Broadcasts such as “The Lodger” or “Suspense: Till Death Do Us Part” if you need a reference of sorts. His accent is very noticeable, thick, and non negotiable! Please at least attempt to do Peter Lorre’s accent. It’s crucial to this character.

  • It’s not meant to scare you Ms. Adeer. Why? (Lower, creepy)Does it scare you?

  • (Playful) You’re not very easy to scare these days.

  • (Surprised, Flustered) Ah…You’re asking me about..me? Nonsense. You wouldn’t want to hear about it.
