Project Overview
Plot:
Left with only a cellphone and the contact name 'Daisy' inside by her brother, Tatum Kingsley is left to face the world alone. Her brother's death continues to remain a mystery to her. However, when her high school's janitor, Theo Kasson, offers her a job to work as a part-time assistant to him, she begins to find little traces of her brother within him. As she grows to trust him, she discovers more about her brother's death, and that Theo is not merely a school janitor...but a person connected to the secrets behind her brother.

Description:
Tatum's reliable, yet childish older brother. He tends to joke around a lot with others and never seems to take things seriously. When he is suffering, he hides it from others. He is extremely selfless and always sees the best in people.
Voice:

(Tired and voice with a slight rasp)
Sigh. Alright fine, but just in case. Whenever you need help, or whenever you need someone to talk to, or maybe even when you’re bored—text him. The number’s already in the phone. He’ll help you no matter what. ‘Daisy’ will be by your side.
(Thoughtful. Tired)
One day you'll get it, one day you'll understand why. Sometimes what you do, whether or not you want to, or whether or not it'll actually do anything in the end--you can move on with no regrets. As long as you protect the ones that you love, then you can move on.
Well this is your new phone. I’ve already cancelled your old plan and transferred it to this one. (Teasing) Think of it as your early birthday present.
Descriptive:
Tatum's high school student council president. She presents the image of being a perfect student, however, carries immense pressure from both her parents and the school. Her anger and stress that she surpresses in front of adults is taken out on other students whom she mocks and bullies.
Voice:
Smooth.
(Taunting, sly)
And this makes it the what? The third time you’ve been late to class this week. You’ll set a new record at the pace you’re going. Unfortunately, it’s not the type of record you should be setting.
(Angry and frustrated. Losing her patience)
Shut up! I don’t give a damn about the picture. You can do whatever the hell you want with it.
(Ashamed of herself. Softly)
I know…but it’s worth a shot. I can’t keep lying to everyone, not like this.
Description:
She is Tatum and Keaton's friend in high school. She is usually seen as the leader between the three. She acts as Tatum's rock and a supportive friend. Though she may appear rebellious and aloof at first, she is very compassionate and not afraid to stand up or speak her mind.
Voice:

(Comforting and cheerful)
You’ll be fine! I’m telling you, with your grades you’ll get in with a scholarship at any school.
(Surpressed anger. Through gritted teeth)
I swear to god if she tries to do anything, I will rip every single strand of that bleached, dead ass hair out of her head.
(Thoughtful and sincere)
So you knew this whole time and you didn't say anything? Tatum I--I wish you talked to me about this sooner.
Description:
He comes off as rude and sarcastic, espcially towards Tatum at first. However, he cares deeply for those that he is close with. He's cunning and manipulative, he's able to charm people into believing and trusting him--yet, most of the time its only a cover up for what he's feeling inside.

(amused)
scoffs. You want the job or not? Janitor work gets pretty tough considering the size of the school. It’ll count towards your community service hours as well.
(Deep in thought)
Somehow I’m kind of scared of her. She looks like she’ll break so easily and because of that, I can’t take my eyes off her.
(Frustrated and angry)
Stop talking as if that's your only option! You act like you're totally okay with it, like it's the most natural thing to do--well it's not, okay? It's not, and it's stupid. You're allowed to ask people for help, you're allowed to depend on someone, that's why we're here.
Description:
The owner of a coffee shop near Tatum's school. He's a long time friend of Tatum's brother. He's often slow on the uptake of things and his surroundings. However, he is loyal and trustworthy when things grow out of hand. Can be seen as the consience of the group.
Voice:
Medium-low. Mature...sometimes ;p
(Interested and amused)

(Angry and annoyed)
Stop making excuses and just go to her already! Is this really what you're worried about right now? Or is there something else?
(Unsure)
I don't know...just say you happened to be walking by or something? You know, like...walking your dog, because people do that right? They walk their dogs, pick up their shit and stuff.
Description:
She's determined to find out the truth behind her brother's death. Learning to live independently, she tends to push people away. Her courage and straighforwardness gets her in trouble at times, especially with her school's student council. Those she trusts, she'll protect them at all costs.

(Annoyed and defensive)
So what? Now you think I have something to do with the school hacking is that it? C’mon are you serious? You’re mad right? Because of the picture I took from this morning. Well don’t worry, because I deleted it already.
(Amused and casual)
Hailey, I swear! I’ve been applying to jobs for the past month, you know that. I need to earn more money or going to college will end up not being a thing.
(Frustrated and pleading)
Don’t say that! You’re gonna be here okay? I don’t need a replacement.
Description:
She's the new guidance counsellor at Tatum's high school. She's strong and independent, acting like an older sister to those she cares about. Unlike Theo who acts before he thinks, she tends to be more calm and acts as assurance to others.

(Teasing)
Is it really alright to be smoking here...Mr. Janitor?
(Pushing and taunting)
You're terrified aren't you? You know what the truth is gonna do, but yet you value your relationship with her too much. Pity. Maybe you should leave for a few days, I'll take care of things while you're gone.
(Casual and nonchalant)
Someone like him will only play around with your feelings. He's built a wall around himself, a wall that can't be broken.
Description:
Tatum's childhood friend. He's tentative in his actions and a bit of an outcast. However, he's loyal and protective over his friends, especially when they are in need. His position as an outcast allows him to observe and see things from different perspectives, helping him understand others better.
Voice:
No requirements.
(Nervous and scared. Trying to negotiate desperately)
W-woah. Okay, hey now. Let’s just talk this through alright? I’ll try harder from now on, I promise.
(Panicked, scared, and frustrated)
I just wanted an answer! I-I wanted to help. But...but things started getting out of hand and it was just one thing after another. Over and over again, more calls, more instructions. Every time I tried to get out of it, they'd just threaten me more. I swear I didn't meant it! (Quiet) I swear.
(annoyed)
Groans. Never mind. I don’t know why I even bother.
