Project Information
Calling all voice actors wanting to do work in a Sonic fan project! I am Azure the author of the Sonic fan comic Silver Synergy. This casting is for the Volume 1 Chapter 2 dub of Silver Synergy. This casting includes the main character of the comic, Silver, a few other major characters, and last but not least a few side characters. Please note that all the roles with the exception of Vector and Espio, are long term. Expect for there to be 1-3 comic dubs each year for this project until its completion.
Audition Details
Please follow the following requirements before auditioning;
-Have decent quality method of recording your voice with little to no background noise.
-16+ or older
-A Discord account is required, please leave your display name and unique username in the description
-Be capable of saving and sending audio in the WAV and mp3 formats
The deadline for this set of auditions is 09/25/2026.

Voice Actor
LEAD - The main character and male lead of the Sonic fan comic Silver Synergy. Silver is 16 year old escaped G.U.N. experiment and one of the last two hedgehogs on Mobius.
AUDITION INFORMATION

This role will be reoccurring for subsequent Silver Synergy dubs in the future. (Due to this fan comic's upload schedule it will usually be around 1-3 dubs a year.)
In this audition please provide two versions of each take. It is also highly recommended that you try to do an impression based off of the official English voice actors for this Sonic character.

" Thanks, but I'll pass." (Sincere, and polite.) "I.... ate too much for lunch today. Heh heh..." (The first sentence is akward, clearly a bad lie. The laughs on the end are nervous and akward.)
"H-HEY! No fair!" (Playful, almost laughing.) "Your a LOT stronger than me!" (This sentence is a half joke complaint.)
"FUN?!" (Disgust, and horror.) "I'LL SHOW YOU FUN!" (Rage, twinge of digust, Silver emphasizes YOU.) "See?! WHEEE! WHAT A RIDE!" (Rage, condesending, and somewhat insane twinge to it.)
Voice Actor
LEAD - A younger version main character and male lead of the Sonic fan comic Silver Synergy. This version of Silver is usually 6-8 years old old depending on the flashback.

" A KITTY! Can we keep him?" (Excited, and happy.) PWEEEASE! (Begging.)
Voice Actor
MAJOR SIDE CHARACTER - Gold is a 16 year old, psychic female tenrec, who is Silver's best friend, and has telepathic powers. Gold is kind hearted, sweet, and can sometimes be a bit nervous.

This role will be reoccurring for subsequent Silver Synergy dubs in the future. (Due to this fan comic's upload schedule it will usually be around 1-3 dubs a year.)
In this audition please provide two versions of each take without modulation, and one take with modulation to represent what she would sound like when using her telepathy. Although Gold is an official Sonic character, she has never had official voice acting.
When auditioning keep in mind that Gold has a mature, soft, and slightly bubbly voice.

SIDE CHARACTER - Mr Gild is a 51 year old tenrec who runs a well known tavern, The Middle Guardian, in Central City with the help of his daughter Gold. He is surprisingly sturdy for his age. Mr Gild is an ex-adventurer who is well known for strictly enforcing decorum within his bar, and is not afraid to ban a rowdy client from his establishment even if by physical force.

This role will be somewhat reoccurring for subsequent Silver Synergy dubs in the future with limited reoccurrences. (Due to this fan comic's upload schedule it will usually be around 1-3 dubs a year.)
In this audition please provide two versions of each take. Mr Gild has a jovial, rough, down to earth, and somewhat gravely voice.

Voice Actor
SIDE CHARACTERS - This role is for voice acting multiple G.U.N. soldiers, and depending on the amount of auditions will likely be handed out to multiple people. G.U.N. soldiers are heavily recurring throughout the comic, and this role is great for individuals looking for a variety of short sets of lines with plenty of opportunity to try multiple voices. Although male voices are primarily what is being searched for, for this role, good soldier female voices may also be accepted.

"There is potentially dangerous suspect on the loose. If you see a male, light grey, tenrec with no identification, detain him immediately!" (G.U.N. Soldier communicating with other G.U.N. soldiers over a radio.)
