Silver Lynx: Transcendence Audio Logs
Project Overview
A "Chapter 0" audio series of the Silver Lynx webcomic series that is currently available to read on Webtoons. This particular project aims to promote the comic, while also building the lore before the events of New Hero on the Wrong Block. For those unfamiliar with the plot of the series:
Michael Matthews, also known as Silver Lynx, is a former gray kitten turned grayish-blue anthropomorphic feline. He had been experimented on for over two decades, before finally escaping to modern-day Kissimmee/Orlando, Florida. His main goal is to fight crime while also learning about human customs and traditions.
This casting call will mainly be for the first audio log, Transcendence Audio Log #1.
Requirements:
You must be over 18 years of age to audition for this project. Previous voice acting skills (preferably in the industry or fan dubs) is preferred, but not required. When done, upload an .mp4 file of said audition. Make sure to apply for the specific role you want! Remove your background noise from the file so I can listen to your audition clearly. Finally, please do read the character descriptions, personalities and actor inspirations before auditioning!
Regarding Payment:
Right now, the main thing I can offer for this series is an acting credit and a letter of written recommendation for when you want to apply to another project at some point in the future. I will be changing it to a paid position sometime soon; rates will be discussed with the voice actors when they do want to continue with the project.

Role: Main Character
Age: 19 (as of this episode)
Character Type: Anthropomorphic experiment. Main inspiration for the voice is Timothee Chalamet (Wonka, Dune: Part Two).
Personality: Michael Matthews, known by Transcendence as Subject 2, is normally outgoing in his attempts to escape captivity. He is frightened to be in the laboratory, and has seen a lot of experiments that would make a normal person have nightmares for the rest of their life. When not being tortured or experimented on, he is happy to hang out with any of the sane experiments who haven’t turned.

Role: Supporting Character
Age: 45
Character Type: Annoyed yet surprised. Tries to keep to himself, and is shocked about his coworker’s certain actions.
Personality: Adrian is normally a surprised person, especially when it comes to his line of work. However, sometimes he gets annoyed easily when someone does something for long (ex. whistling).
Scene Information: Adrian is having to miss his son’s birthday for another night shift at Transcendence’s underground laboratory. He and Victor are two of the only few night guards left in the vicinity, hoping to not even think about his boss’ intensity. Adrian then learns about his coworker’s brutality against one of the subjects, hoping to get out of this job soon.- english

(Shocked, frightened) Wait, wait, wait, hold up… you’re telling me that he EATS PEOPLE?!
Role: Supporting Character
Age: 32
Character Type: Laid back when nothing serious happens, but a rough gangster-type guard when someone doesn’t take his duties seriously. Has a hatred for Michael due to the latter’s prolonged captivity.
Personality: Victor is normally a laid-back and outgoing person, enjoying the night shift without many people around. He enjoys annoying Adrian sometimes with his whistling, but part of it is his forgetfulness of certain details. However, his personality changes when he has to confront Michael - Victor is one of the main guards that has been responsible for torturing the feline.
Scene Information: Victor is sitting in the guard area, joking around with Adrian to make sure his coworker isn’t annoyed. He tries to tell the other male about their boss and what he did earlier in the day. Once they reach Michael’s cell, he is rather brutal towards the feline and doesn’t care whether the test subject lives or dies. This sets Adrian off a tiny bit in his mind, seeing a different side of Victor.
