Project Overview
Imagine a gated community, where everyone loves to become friends with their neighbors, where everyone is the same and gets along. Now, imagine that there are no so normal people living in this neighborhood. That concoction is Sigils, Spells and the Stories they Tell.

This webcomic is written by myself and a few friends, and we were thinking about how cool it would be if we inserted some voice fun into it!

Jacob has completely given up on his family. He just wants to live a normal life, but he knows that it isn't possible. So he tries to make it as normal as possible. He's grumpy and slightly sassy around his family, but he warms up a lot to people in the neighborhood.
Let me tell you, I live with a garden nut, a surfer chick, and satan incarnate. I cannot wait to get out of this crazy house.
You know, for a witch, you aren't all that bad. Dad really seems to hate you, but... You're pretty sweet.
You kidding me? Really? I doubt that you can beat me so bad my teeth will fall out. I think I can take you.
Adaline is around twenty one years old and has been a witch ever since her great aunt took her in. She has a cheerful voice for the most part, but can get really nervous and agitated around a few people.
(Cheery) Oh Scout, don't worry about Orion, she's just yanking your chain!
In other news, look at my garden! Teehee~! Looks like I'll beat that stupid Dennis Johnson in the gardening competition this year.... For the third year in a row! Ha!
I may hate myself... I may think I'm nothing... But that doesn't give you the right to CALL me worthless!
Scout is a big tomboy. She loves adventure and thinks of her various cuts and bruises as her 'battle scars'. She may like girly things on occasion, but not usually. (Think Yotsuba if you know Yotsuba.)
Ada! Orion! Come on out! Let's go on an adventure!

Richard is a gigantic nerd. He has a deep, velvety voice that immediately puts you at ease. He is nice to everyone, but if someone threatens someone he cares about, he can get scary.
Hey, my little princess. Didja bring your friends over?
Orion! You and me, man cave, now! The game's on and Neera made us some dip!
(Playfully) Oh no, the mighty dragonslayer! Oh, I am dying! Ooohhh, I am deeaadd!
Neera is Richard's wife and Scout's mother. She is a kind soul and loves to cook and garden. She loves nothing more than her family, although she loves to entertain.
Ah! Welcome, welcome! It is so nice to see you two again!
(Sternly) Scout, you need to focus, or else what will you do when you get older?
Oh Richard, she is growing up... She is still tiny, but she is growing up...
Lucia is the foil to her twin sister Leila. Lucia is semi quiet and fairly collected, but is a total hipster. She is the stereotypical hipster.
Leila, quit it. This is why no one likes you.
Ugh. I'm Lucia. But I'll probably be overshadowed by the complete lust ball that is my sister Leila.
We're twins. Funny, huh? We may look alike, but we're different. Because I hate her.
Sara used to be a chaimpion surfer, but she gave it up when she married Dennis. She still has her mellow attitude most of the time, but can be strict when she needs to be.
Dennis, take a deep breath. Breathe in the fresh air. Everything is going to be okay.
C'mon, just roll with it! Let the waves of life take you wherever they want!
Don't make fun of me, honey bunny, I can still take you down.
Dennis is your average father. He makes Dad jokes, although he sometimes oversteps his boundaries. His pride and joy is his garden, and he is out there almost every day.
(Exclaims) Sweet Mother Hubbard!!
Sara, dearest, I AM being rational! How is it fair that a WITCH gets to enter a GARDEN contest??
(Jokingly) Looks like I have to kick someone out of the family. Jacob, sorry buddy.
Meghan was Max's fiancee before he got cursed. She is a complete sweet dork that is literally okay with almost everything. She tends to laugh a lot. And when she starts laughing, she almost can't stop.
Max, I... I don't know what to say!
Like I always say, the best cake is every cake! Pie can kiss it!
(Sings loudly) You will remember me!! Remember me for centuries!!
Orion is around 23 years old. Even though she looks (and sounds) like a boy, she is, indeed, a girl. She tends to sound sarcastic and even mean most of the time, but around her friends or kids, she tends to ease up and sound.... Less sarcastic.
That's a pretty good point. But have you thought about shutting up? It's pretty easy.
I swear to Christ that I'm gonna kill that goat one of these days.
(Sing-song) Lalala, I don't care and neither should you and if you don't like it, fight me.
Rosie. Makes. Puns. She primarily makes cat puns, but she thinks of herself as the pun queen. She sometimes makes some good points, but she mostly speaks in puns. Cat puns. Run.
Some kittens wait a lifetime for a... Mew-ment like this!! Hahahaha, get it??

Crow is around 22 years old and has never really spoken English, so his voice is really rough sounding. He grew up talking in nothing but bird chirps.

This flirty nerd has a soothing Irish accent. Even though he DOES flirt with people, he means only the best and uses his abilities to give self esteem boosts.
I didn't think that I'd be meeting up with a work of art today, but I suppose I was wrong!
Hey, hey, don't cry! Cheer up! Uh, uhm, think about puppies! Or kittens! Or a... Puppy kitten? Would that be an abomination or what?

Barley has a sort of deep voice, but when he gets excited, it goes up in pitch a bit. He tends to make blind jokes a bit, and actually doesn't mind when other people make them too. He can get a bit nervous around new people.
Why did you say 'Head's up??' I'm blind, looking around won't do me any good!
(Whining) Rosie, why are we going to a party? Meeting people is gonna be really hard. Last time, I spent half an hour talking to a potted plant! I even asked it out!
I'd make a blind joke, but I can't see-m to think of one! Hahahaha... haha... That wasn't funny, was it?
Max is completely grumpy, almost all the time. He was a human originally, but he got cursed by Adaline and now... He's a cat. He hates it, but deals with it. He only really likes Adaline.
Adaline, you've gotta be kidding me. Are you serious?
(Panicked) A cat? I'm a cat?? Are you kidding me?? How the-? WHAT?
I swear I'll make a break for it one day. Maybe tomorrow. If you forget to feed me. Ah, forget it, I like it here.
Marina, while looking on the internet, came across 'pastel punk'. So that is her current phase. She certainly gets the punk part right. She's very hostile and yells at and challenges everyone to a fight. Don't underestimate her cute face.
