Hello to you all on casting call club! We are, as the video suggests, doing a casting call for the 3 chapter shoujo manga series: The Secret of Friendship. The series is so short, it's sad, but we still believe it gets at the core of what friendship really is.
Sypnosis: Moe is a gorgeous high school student whom
others find difficult to get along with, as her blunt honesty often
comes off as insensitive. However, after meeting Eiko Sakamoto, a plain
but exceedingly gracious girl, Moe feels she has finally found someone
who truly understands her. Ever since then, the two have been
inseparable best friends.
If you have not read the series, we highly suggest that you at least read the first chapter or the chapter that your character is in before auditioning. It will give you an advantage, trust us.
Requirements:
1. Decent microphone quality. I will feel so badly if you have a good voice but have bad sound quality. If we like your voice a lot, we can discuss other options, but you will have the upper hand if you have good quality.
- 2. A form of contact. Email or Skype. If you get casted we will need your email and your Skype username.
- 3. Availabilty. When we begin working on the project we want to have a few practice sessions so that we sound like we are actually interacting. Please have some free time on your hand. Of course, we will coordinate with the cast.
- 4. A good attitude. Being a nice person is just as important as being talented. If we critique your audition, please take it seriously.
