Age/Voice: Mid-30s. A Western man, grounded and sturdy.
Arthur is a lumberjack who’s lived his whole life in Devil’s Mountain. He’s a family man, loves his wife Martha and their two kids. He’s practical, wise in his way, and deeply protective, but his good nature makes him a little too trusting, which can lead to him being deceived.

Martha, I told ya, them kids’ll be safe. Ain’t no harm ever crossed this mountain in all my years.
Wood’s dry enough. I’ll split it come morning.
She's a cop... She's got a gun. She can handle it.
Age/Voice: Early 30s. Warm, maternal.
About: Martha is Arthur’s wife, a woman who’s learned resilience from the isolated life they’ve built together. She’s nurturing and wise, though often anxious about dangers Arthur tends to dismiss. She loves her family fiercely, and her instincts are sharp.
Voice Notes: Gentle, caring, protective mother. Should sound like she’s seen hardship but still holds onto love.
- female adult

(Being cautious.) Arthur… you always say that, but I can’t shake this feeling. Something’s wrong out there.
(Empethatic.) So you are using her as bait?
Age/Voice: 60s–70s. Gruff, raspy, fearful but badass.
About: Hosac is a reclusive old man who’s lived in Devil’s Mountain long enough to know its dangers. Fear has hardened him, and though he’s jittery, he’ll pull a shotgun on strangers without hesitation.
Voice Notes: Paranoid, weary, raspy. Think “old prospector who’s seen too much.”

You think the mountain’s quiet? That’s ‘cause it’s listenin’…
Are you dumb? Oh... You must be new here.
Get off my damn property! NOW!
