Shattered Harmony: casting call 3
Project Overview
This is part 3 of my casting call for my African wild dog series, Shattered Harmony.
MOST of these characters are more background characters, and won’t have too much dialogue, but some of them have their own separate stories that won’t be the main plot but I might show in voice acted animations. Some of these characters that are more important are:
Bellatrix
Amper
Umi
Tezi
Mystery
Minzi
And you’ll especially notice some of them are more blank slates when it comes to personality and overall character, those characters are REALLY just minor characters and won’t have too much speaking lines. This is the resting of the Dwindling Skies pack, or the first POV packs.
If you haven’t seen the previous casting calls, basically, this is about two African wild dog packs on the brink of war. This WAS gunna be the last casting call, but, I’ll just post casting calls whenever I realize I need more people. So there will be a few more

Mystery is a lead soldier of his pack, and a minor character. His origins are well, a mystery! He just showed up one day injured along with his brother, Minzi. Nobody knows his origins and he doesn’t care to share. He’s stoic, confident, and commanding. ‘Mystery’ most likely isn’t his actual name, but rather a title that later turned into his permanent nickname. Whilst his brother Minzi revealed his name, Mystery hadn’t. So his name is a mystery! Haha I’m so hilarious.

Tezi is a soldier of the pack, and a minor character. They are sweet and extremely loyal. Though often being a sweetheart and easy to talk too, they can be quite serious and intimidating when they need too. Tezi is a bug enthusiast, often spending their time observing the little critters or chasing butterflies in fields. Tezi is non binary, and I would like their voice to be a bit more androgynous. Though it doesn’t matter what the voice actor’s gender is

Amani is a soldier of the pack and a minor character. She’s incredibly determined to prove herself, whatever means necessary. She’s tired of being dismissed, and she’s eager to prove she isn’t a dog that should be overlooked. She often gets confused with her identical sister, Imani. (Even their names are similar!)
She’s sarcastic, stubborn, and a bit hard headed. She truly believes if she could just prove herself, she could be a dog everyone remembers. But jokes on you, Amani, you aren’t even a main character

I was taken off guard, and he was a larger male..sir, with all due respect, your idea that a dog is weak purely due to their job is false. You suggest our healer, Nutmeg, is weak?
Minzi is Mystery’s brother and ANOTHER minor character. He’s sweet, though a bit dimwitted. He’s incredibly clumsy, often tripping over his own paws. He laughs a lot, even if he didn’t understand a joke or if the situation isn’t even funny. He’s quite the giggly dog

Oops, I didn’t actually mean to do that. But honestly I often don’t ever mean to do anything important. Stuff just happens to me.
Mali is a very minor/background character. She’s the oldest dog in the pack and the mother to Imani and Amani. She’s half blind and lost her leg in a battle with a lion. She’s very grumpy, tired, and just wants to be left alone. Though she yearns for a fight still

Zanzibar is a charismatic and resourceful dog. Zanzibar has a natural charm that makes him well-liked among his peers, but he can also be stubborn and uncompromising when it comes to his beliefs and the well-being of his pack.

Togo is an incredibly sweet and fun loving dog. He’s the mate to Cada, and father of Amper, Bianca, Umi, Baobab, and Caffra. Basically, goofy dad energy. Dad jokes galore. He loves flowers and decorates his fur with them. He’s a big fluffier than average

Give him to me if need be, I’ve reared pups of my own before.
Bellatrix is completely blind due to losing her eyes in a fight with a lion, and she’s got the face scars to prove it. She’s quite close to Nutmeg and spends most her time in the healing den with her. She’s quiet, but an absolutely ruthless fighter.

Carrion is the hunts chief of the pack, responsible of gathering hunts. He’s missing one ear due to the skirmish with the lions. He stoic and doesn’t speak much, but when he does, his words often come out threatening. Even when they’re not.

This is where characters start to be a bit of a blank slate. Barke is a male adult pack member, I’ll be less picky about any characters that do not have much description. You can basically play around with any personality for now. ALSO, I couldn’t think of audition lines. So I just went on incorrect quote generator. No these lines will NOT be in the project. Recommendation I can see is: either kinda non serious, wacky kinda voice or COMPLETELY stone dead serious that would be funny. But you could do what you want

Cada is a female adult pack member, she is the mate of Togo and has had 5 pups. Another blank slate, you could go with any personality and once again I’m stealing quotes from incorrect generator for now so the audition lines can be a bit ridiculous

Yeah, a partner sounds nice, but a supreme enemy you can make out with in secret sometimes sounds a lot more hardcore.
I just learned a way to get stuff on the cheap. Steal it!
Bahati is an elder male pack member and the mate to Mali. Another blank slate, but he is an old guy. Audition lines are once again stolen from incorrect quote generator because uhm…Yeha sorry so they are ridiculous

“Ladies and gentlemen” is unnecessarily gendered, overly formal, lengthy, and honestly, I’m falling asleep already. “Cowards” on the other hand, is inclusive to all genders, to the point, and dramatic.
If I'm extra sarcastic with you it probably means I'm flirting with you or you really annoy me and I can't handle your crap... have fun figuring out which one.
Imani is the twin sister of Amani. She’s very relaxed, lazy, and carefree.

Bianca is a more shy, reserved dog. She’s the sister of Amper and Umi. She speaks very little and is rather soft spoken.

Now Amper is less of a background character and more of a minor antagonist. She’s very very loud, dramatic, selfish, and strives to be the lead female of the pack one day. She often sucks up to Shard, trying to get on his good side and doing whatever he pleases.

Umi is friendly, welcoming, and sweet. He’s the brother of Amper and Bianca. He’s a supporting character in the second..’arc’ I guess but more of a background character in the first arc.
