Project Overview
In the small, seemingly idyllic town of Silver Hollow, everything is not as it seems. The town is ruled by an elite class who host an annual competition, The Shattered Games, where teenagers must navigate a deadly series of challenges to prove their worth to the community. Only one can win, and the stakes are high—failure means exile or worse.
Sixteen-year-old Maya Winter is nearing the age where she must compete, but she has no desire to take part in the brutal ritual. Her family has always kept their distance from the Games, but when her older brother mysteriously disappears during last year’s competition, Maya’s world is thrown into chaos. The authorities claim he was a failure, but Maya doesn’t believe it. Determined to uncover the truth, Maya delves into her brother’s past, only to discover cryptic clues that lead her to the dark heart of the Games themselves.
As Maya is dragged into the competition, she begins to unravel a tangled web of lies. She uncovers that her family, along with the town's most powerful figures, may have been involved in rigging the Games for decades, manipulating the players to maintain control over the entire community. The competition isn’t just a test of survival—it’s a system designed to break people and keep them in line.
Along the way, Maya is joined by her childhood friend Zoe, who is eager to win and climb the social ladder, and Ethan, a former competitor with a mysterious past, whose dark connections to the Games start to surface. As the competition intensifies, Maya realizes that the friends she thought she could trust may not have her best interests at heart. Zoe’s ambition blinds her to the dangers of the system, while Ethan’s motives remain unclear. Could he be using Maya to get to the truth—or is he part of the corrupt system that rules the Games?
As the final challenge looms, Maya discovers the horrifying truth: the competition is not just about winning—it’s about survival in a society that forces its citizens to destroy one another for sport. In a race against time, Maya must decide whether to expose the conspiracy and risk her own life—or play the Games to win and expose the truth from within.
In the end, Maya faces an impossible choice. Will she sacrifice herself to take down the Games and free the town from its chains? Or will she win and use her newfound power to tear down the system from the inside?

She’s strong-willed and won’t let fear or the town’s manipulation control her fate.
